Review of: Lierac Paris Ultra Body Lift 10 Liposuction in a Bottle?! No Way!!!

I noticed my winter skin shining through; when I say winter skin, I mean the extra pudding, apple pie, cakes, candy, and Christmas bulge that I tried to ignore. In April however when I brought out my summer clothes I noticed butt and thigh dimples when I wore the short shorts I once looked nice in.
I broke out in panic, I began to sweat, and my heart sank. The weight I could take off, but what about the cellulite!? Cellulite tends to stick around even on the thinnest of legs! Ahhh!!!
I searched frantically on the Internet that very day, and came across a product that was described as too good to be true. It was a formula by Lierac Paris, called Ultra Body Life 10. A lipo sculptant. Hmm seemed real enough to me. I was desperate!
The packaging read:
An anti-fat, anti-sugar and anti-water formula, Ultra Body Lift 10 Minceur is the ideal body-contouring treatment to help put your orange-peel skin 'on a diet.' This ultra-smoothing concentrate contains active active caffeine, aspartame and glycyrrhiza glabra extract to help diminish the appearance of orange-peel skin and visibly reduce the signs of cellulite. The ultra-penetrating, alcohol-free gel-serum texture does not stick and leaves no unsightly traces when applied.
Contains a source of Phenylalanine.
Ohh... sounds good. Just what I need! I searched for the best price, and came across a site selling it for $45.00 at www.drugstore.com, I added it to my cart, and awaited for my miracle lipo suction formula to come in the mail. I really prayed it worked, because the price was a bit higher than what I'm used to.
SCENT:
I was surprised that this formula had such a lovely scent. I figured it would smell all medicine like, but the scent is actually like a fresh bubble bath. It reminded me of Mr. Bubble mixed with some floral arrangements.
PACKAGING:
The bottle itself is a long cylinder shaped tube. It is pink with a twist to the side silver lid. It's actually easy, a twist to the right it opens up the sealed chamber; a twist to the left, and it's closed. The labeling is in metallic silver, and white.
FORMULA:
It's not a lotion at all. It's more like a thin gel like substance that you rub into your problem area. The color is pink, and the formula is not thick at all. It's actually pretty runny, so I had to be careful while squeezing the bottle, otherwise it's end up all over the place, or I would end up with a handful of more formula than I needed.
MY USE:
I concentrated on my thighs and buttocks, the gel glided on easily and I rubbed it in for quite some time. I do this to make sure it's getting penetrated into my pores for the best results.
The gel began to dry almost immediately, and left no greasy or sticky residue behind. Within a few minutes 'I felt it working'. It was an odd cooling sensation, with a minor tingling effect. It did not hurt, but it was a very strange feeling on my skin I had never felt before.
After the sensation wore off, the formula then began to tighten my skin. Not visibly tighten it, but I could actually feel it. I was not expecting this, but was happy because it felt like it was working. I have never used any lotions or toners that have felt like they were working, so it was an exciting break through.
After a few hours and checking my skin for any new signs of improvement I noticed a pale cloudy pink residue left behind. It sort of looked as if I had spilled pepto bismol on myself. I didn't care though, it didn't stick to my clothing, so all was good. However no signs of improvement. Honestly it would be silly of me to think it'd work on contact that fast, so I used it religiously for a month.
After a month of use I can say that I did notice a slight difference in my skin. It was tighter, but the cellulite was definitely still there. The lipo action works, but only to a degree. I have been using this since April, and after 2 months the results are the same. A slight difference, but nothing huge to be excited about.
I can wear my shorts and feel comfortable again, but the cellulite is still slightly visible.
OVERALL:
It does work but once I got some results, it sort of duded out and stopped improving my skin. It was a bummer, but I'm glad it worked slightly.
I still feel though, that if you have only a tiny bit of bumps on your legs to get rid of, this would work like a charm. However don't expect miracles.
