Beauty Review: Sean John Unforgivable Woman Body Lotion

Body lotion to me is more of a hobby, than it is body care. I buy body lotion primarily for scent. I avoid lotions that are scentless. I am a body lotion junkie, and even when I come across a lotion that is over priced... if I like it, I have no control; I buy it.
 
Everyone who knows me, knows that I'm probably the easiest person on earth to buy a gift for. They can toss me a lotion, a perfume, or eye shadow, and I'm as happy as a piggy in a mud pen.

Sean John Unforgivable Woman Body Lotion was recently given to my by my cousin for Christmas. I know though that she likely bought an entire set, and tossed me the body lotion from the set because it is not a large bottle, its the smaller 2 ounce travel sized bottle.

Normally when Sean John Unforgivable Woman Body Lotion is purchased it comes in a 6.7 ounce squeeze bottle, at a jaw dropping price of around $42.00 or more.

Either way though, i was happy she thought of me, and happy she gave me the lotion because I loved the scent.

Sean John Unforgivable Woman Body Lotion has a very airy clean fresh scent to it. When I gave it a big sniff primarily I knew I could smell cucumbers; however the ingredients don't have cucumbers as an included ingredient. Regardless though, to me it smells like cucumbers, rose, and a very, very light touch of citrus.

Had another drop of rose been added to this one, it would have crossed over into a grandma scent, because Sean John Unforgivable Woman Body Lotion does have a very old fashioned quality about it. It's warm, it's sultry, but it definitely is pretty familiar to older scents like Coco Chanel No 5, only not as potent.

My Use:
 
I applied a good amount of the lotion to my entire body after a shower last night, and when waking up this morning I can still detect notes of this one on me, so it definitely has staying power which is a plus in my book.

As far as moisturizing though, skip out on this one if that's what you're looking for.

Like I said, I usually only buy lotions that offer a perfumed delicious fragrance, and this is exactly what Sean John Unforgivable Woman Body Lotion is. Yummy scented lotion.

It works more like a perfume because it doesn't do anything beneficiary to your skin. It won't hydrate, it won't moisturize. It will though envelope your body in it's scent, and that's exactly what I was hoping it would do.

It's a winner in my opinion when it comes to staying power.

I like the scent, but I'm not in love with it. If you already know you love the Sean John Unforgivable Woman scent, than you will love the lotion, because it is very long lasting.
