Clean & Clear Soft Scrub Purifying Cleanser: Review

I was not shopping in particular for facial scrubs, cleansers, or creams when I was at my local Target this past week, but when I saw Clean & Clear Soft Scrub Purifying Cleanser sitting on an outside isle I was intrigued. Clean & Clear Soft Scrub Purifying Cleanser was definitely something new that I hadn't seen sitting on shelves before, so immediately I was drawn to wanting to try it out for size. The attractive tube was what drew me in, as well as the turquoise blue packaging. The large word SCRUB written in bold white text that ran down the side of the bottle pretty much already had me sold.

The Promise:

Like most facial scrubs and cleansers the promise on the package was as bland as any other. Still though, I wanted to try it.

For those who don't have a bottle in front of them, Clean & Clear Soft Scrub Purifying Cleanser basically promises that using it will remove dead surface skin from your face due to the exfoliating grains located within the scrub. Clean & Clear Soft Scrub Purifying Cleanser will so all this, while leaving your skin soft and smooth. Not dry and tight.

For those who buy new facial products religiously, the promise is pretty generic. Still though, worth a shot no?

The Scrub:

The color of the scrub itself is a white color with a very, very subtle hint of blue/teal. It is a bit runny and slimy and does not have the same consistency that I am used to when it comes to facial products.
The scrub in general though is very, very grainy, containing a slew of very micro small teal colored micro-beads, and other tiny, tiny grainy materials in the formula.

All in all Clean & Clear Soft Scrub Purifying Cleanser basically resembled an exfoliating queen. I had never used a product that contained this much exfoliating beads/grains.

Scent:

The scent is very mild, nothing delicious, nor nothing memorable that sticks out. Basically Clean & Clear Soft Scrub Purifying Cleanser has a fresh clean scent, with a chemically undertone. It sort of reminds me of fresh laundry and chlorine. That is not a bad thing though, it is very refreshing while using it.

My Use:

I squeezed out a small dab of Clean & Clear Soft Scrub Purifying Cleanser, and put it to work on my face. I scrubbed it around my skin, and enjoyed the fact that it didn't feel like it was ripping my skin, in spite of all of the micro-beads. It truly felt like a genuine gentle wash, that was effective at leaving my skin feeling clean.

Rinsing Clean & Clear Soft Scrub Purifying Cleanser from my face took a little more time than most facial scrubs I have used, but this was simply because this scrub contained so many exfoliating beads/grains.

After patting dry, my face felt very, very clean, and as promised, it did not dry out my skin, nor leave my skin feeling dry.

What I Love:

I love the fact that Clean & Clear Soft Scrub Purifying Cleanser was able to clear up my skin in record time. I have been using these odd oily skin treatments by Elizabeth Arden that is prone to leaving a pimple behind every now and then. Clean & Clear Soft Scrub Purifying Cleanser however was able to clear these problematic areas up with speed I have seen no other product do.

Overall:

My face is clear, it leaves my skin feeling soft, and the product has overall been wonderful at zapping away acne in record times. Seriously one could not ask for more when it comes to facial cleansing.

Highly, highly recommended.
