Does New Crest 3D White Vivid Toothpaste Really Whiten Teeth in 14 Days?

I had seen advertisement for the newest toothpaste on the market from Crest. It is called Crest 3D White Vivid Toothpaste, and what made this particular toothpaste stick out so much compared to other pastes on the market, was the 14 day promise.

Using Crest 3D White Vivid Toothpaste will remove up to 80% of surface stains in just 14 days, the result is whiter and brighter teeth! Besides just whitening teeth though, this particular paste will also strengthen enamel. Your satisfaction is guaranteed!

I could not pass this one up, so when I stumbled across a tube of this paste being sold at Walmart for just under $3.00, I went ahead and tossed it into my cart. My teeth are pretty white on their own, thanks to Crest White Strips. However those strips are expensive, and I don't always stock up. I'm also a coffee drinker, and a smoker, so my teeth tend to fall back into a not so bright, white appearance.
I adored Crest Whitening Toothpaste, but the results took quite some time to show any significant changes.

I like trying new products as well, so I was willing to change up a favorite for a new one, especially considering that it was made by Crest, which is a personal favorite of mine.

The toothpaste itself came in Radiant Mint flavor. Once home I used the paste. It has a greenish white coloring to it, which is both a paste and a gel. Crest called it a gel paste hybrid, which I thought was pretty funny, and clever as far as advertising goes. When I squeezed the paste out onto my toothbrush I could see why they call it a gel paste hybrid though. It's a little mixture of both.

The flavor is minty and refreshing, but it has a slight weak tone of baking soda, or something a little salty, sort of like the flavoring you get from a sensitivity toothpaste. It's not bad, but when you brush your mouth does not feel as fresh and clean as a regular toothpaste.

There are small beads or flecks in the paste that you can see, that slightly exfoliate the teeth of food and particles.

There is an aftertaste left behind that is very subtle, but if you have ever used white strips, that is basically the aftertaste you will recognize. I imagine whatever that taste is, it will play a role in the whitening of the teeth.

After brushing, you will want to use a rinse, just to really freshen your breath. I suggest doing so.
Results after 1 week:

After 1 week of using Crest 3D White Vivid Toothpaste I was surprised in the changes that were obvious. My teeth were whiter after 7 days, and the promise was 14 days, so I can say yes, this stuff works even better tan advertised.

After the full 14 days, my teeth were around 3 shades whiter. I loved the results, as they were fast, and worked just as promised, (better in my opinion).

Overall:

If you are looking to quickly whiten your teeth, for a brighter, more vivid smile, than I would highly suggest this toothpaste. It works just as well as white strips.
