I've always been a fan of Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea perfume, sprays
and lotions. I never really considered the deodorant though. I've always
been a fan of men's Degree when it came to keeping me dry and smelling
fresh. I sweat a lot more than the average women, so I see absolutely
nothing wrong with using a men's deodorant. If it solves the problem,
excellent.
I never really found a women's deodorant to be as effective, so I pretty much avoided them.
This year though for Christmas a relative of mine stuffed small
stockings for all of the women in the family with perfumes, lotions, and
inside the stocking she also stuffed a small 1.5 ounce bottle of Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Cream Deodorant.
I thought it was weird, and felt mildly offended. Thankfully though it
wasn't a hint that I stink, because all of the women in the family got
the same thing.
Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Cream Deodorant comes in a small plastic
stick, with a cute fresh design on it of a green tea leaf, and the
Elizabeth Arden logo.
I was hoping that Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Cream Deodorant had the
same delicious sweet scent that the perfume had. I imagined though that
seeing how it was deodorant it would have a chemical scent attached to
it. Once I popped off the cite minty green lid though, and gave it a
sniff I was surprised to find that the green tea scent I knew and loved
was 100% the same as the perfume. There was nothing different about it
at all.
It had that green tea scent, with a dash of something really sweet and fresh. It's delicious!
I was a little afraid to use it as my primary deodorant, because I am
used to my Degree deodorant, and I had a feeling that something as girly
fresh delicious as Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Cream Deodorant, wouldn't
keep sweat and stink at bay.
I made sure I didn't have work, or have anywhere to be the day I
tested out Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Cream Deodorant. The last time I
tried a deodorant from Lush, I was at work and got so self conscious
when the deodorant decided to stop working. I began sweating, and I
could smell body odor. It was a horror scene I didn't care to repeat.
I pushed some of the deodorant cream up through to the applicator by
using the twist dial located at the very bottom of the deodorant stick.
The cream itself was a little runny in consistency, and reminded me
more of lotion than it did any deodorant cream I have ever seen. The
thin runny consistency made me nervous though, because I didn't think it
would stick and protect my underarms.
I applied a decent layer to each armpit, and went about my business.
I was working on doing my laundry when I got the first delicious whiff
of the deodorant. Apparently as my body heated up, the gorgeous green
tea scent begins to kick in, and it was lovely. Hopefully though, it
would be long lasting.
I went about my day with the same results. A whiff of the delicious
green tea fragrance, but at the same time I realized I was not sweating
at all. In fact I didn't sweat all day long.
Now normally I would recommend a mans deodorant for excessive sweaters
like me. However I think I have found a deodorant made for women, that
will work with the same power as a mans deodorant.
I never in my life thought I would find such a deodorant, let alone such a nice smelling deodorant.
It is one that I feel confident will keep sweat away, and keep you smelling like a fresh delicate lady.
Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Cream Deodorant is a winner in my book; one that I wish I had discovered ages ago.
Where To Find:
I'm not sure where she picked this up for all of us, but I'm sure she
