Review: Dial, Clean & Refresh, Spring Water Body Wash

Dial is a name brand of body washes, soaps, and other bath and body products that I never paid much mind to. It always reminded me of dish soap, so I never gave it attention.

This weekend though I'm out at Target for the second time in less than 2 days with my cousin. She is shopping for a friends birthday, and I tag along. I honestly didn't need anything, seeing how the day before I pretty much scooped up everything I needed. However an hour went by and I was starting to get bored. Same stuff I saw the day before... I actually couldn't wait to leave.

So while she's shopping I find myself sort of chilling/leaning on our cart, and I look down at one of the shelves I'm standing in front of. Dial Body Wash. Normally I'd just pass this sort of stuff up, but seeing how I was bored, I figured I'd sniff the 3 different washes that were lined up on the shelves.

The first Dial Body Wash I sniffed was, Dial, Clean & Refresh, Spring Water Body Wash.

OH MY GOD!

I was not expecting to even like it, but my lord in heaven this blue colored body wash smelled exactly like bubblicious watermelon bubble gum. The delicious chewy goodness I used to adore as a child. There was no other way to describe it, but to call it mouth watering watermelon.

I was baffled by the Spring Water name they added to the wash, seeing how it smelled nothing like spring water, or anything even remotely like that. It smelled like watermelon bliss, candy coated deliciousness, sugary dreams, and childhood memories.

I told my cousin to sniff it and she thought the exact same thing I did. Watermelon bubble gum. We both grabbed a bottle, and headed home.

My Use:

I hopped in the shower grabbed my lovely loofah, squirt some of the transparent light blue colored Dial, Clean & Refresh, Spring Water Body Wash into my loofah, and began rubbing it all around.

The mouth watering sugary watermelon scent filled my nostrils, and smelled absolutely delicious. The wash began to really foam up into a silky and creamy bubblicious lather. For the $2.50 I spend on this stuff, it sure as heck was making itself my top favorite wash due to the scent and the huge amount of lather I got from just a small amount.

Results:

My skin was left feeling slightly moisturized, but truly it was nothing to write home about. The scent also dissipated the moment I got out of the shower to dry up.

All in all though, it was such a glorious watermelon Jolly rancher/bubble gum scent that as really strong in the shower, that I definitely would recommend it.

You can pick up a large 12 ounce bottle of Dial, Clean & Refresh, Spring Water Body Wash, and other scents at nearly any local superstore. Prices will vary.
