Review of Ecotools, Blooming Planet Body Mist

Whenever I happened to come upon bath and body products that seem new and interesting to me, I scoop them up, especially if the price is right.

I came across Ecotools about a month ago at a local drugstore. I fell in love with the scents these products gave off in the store, and I ended up walking out with a shower gel, and the product up for review here today; the Ecotools Blooming Planet Body Mist.

This company sells products that are nearly all natural, and safer for our planet. I like that, but mostly, (and I feel guilty for saying this) I just loved how their Blooming Planet Body Mist smelled.

Before Blooming Planet, I managed to pretty much avoid body mists, because as lovely as they smell coming out of their plastic bottles, the scent never sticks, and to me that's just wasteful. I hoped that when I got home and sprayed myself down with my new body mist, that the scent would actually stay.

The Scent:

Simply to die for!!! Ecotools Blooming Planet smells very refreshing, it's like a mist of rain kissing your skin with delicious and uplifting fragrances from a fresh garden mixed in. I knew this spray would make for a perfect treat after a bath or shower.

My Use:

I used Blooming Planet in 2 different ways, one on dry skin and clothes, and the other on wet skin after a shower. On dry skin Blooming Planet is short lived as far as the scent goes. I still liked it, but I would have liked if it stood longer, because the scent pretty much evaporated after just 2 or 3 minutes.
Out of the shower on wet skin, the results were the same, even spraying this one in my hair did not justice as far as attempting to get the scent to stick around.

Overall:

It's really unfortunate about the lack of lasting scent, because the smell is really lovely, and refreshing. I personally still use it and like it for a quick peppy lift me up in the morning, I just wish the lift me up lasted. As far as saying I would buy this one again though, I'd have to say no.
