Review of Estee Lauder Soft Clean Tender Creme Cleanser

The time of year has come again, where if you buy one little thing from Estee Lauder, you wait a bit and eventually walk out of the store with a heap of gifts. This is the best time to buy from Estee Lauder because you end up with a bunch of really wonderful products.

One such product goes to Estee Lauder Soft Clean Tender Creme Cleanser. Instead of a large tube of the cleanser, in my gift bag I had a smaller trial sized tube of the cleanser, which is fine, because I wanted to just try it before buying it anyway. Most of Estee Lauder's cleansers are priced higher than what I'd normally pay, and most low end cleansers work just as well. But hey, this one was free, so you really can't complain...unless you wake up to find your face covered in acne.

Estee Lauder Soft Clean Tender Creme Cleanser comes in a pale pink tube, and the formula within has a thicker consistency, but looks like a thick creamy lotion than a cleanser. There are no flecks or beads for exfoliating within it though, so I did not think it would do that great of a job at removing all dirt gathered up on my face during the duration of the day. I hoped it would, and planned on testing how well it worked by using the cleanser followed up by a makeup removal pad to see if it left anything behind on my skin.

I squeezed some of the cleanser out into my hand, and got to working on a lather. The cleanser lathers nicely, but it felt like it was leaving behind an odd greasy film on my face, so I had to continue to rinse until my skin felt free of this slick oily film.

Once it seemed completely removed, my skin did in fact feel really clean, but that was partly because I had to put more effort into rinsing than usual. My skin was left soft though, really soft, and whatever that oily stuff was that I felt on my skin while rinsing is more than likely responsible. This is not a bad thing though, because I got it all off, and what was left was skin that felt really clean, really moisturized, and as soft as new pillows.

Granted I did not like the oily feeling while washing, I did love the results.

Afterward I used a makeup removal towel, and ran it around my face. Estee Lauder Soft Clean Tender Creme Cleanser did not miss a spot. No traces of makeup could be found on the towel, and I was happy with the results. It is safe to say that Estee Lauder Soft Clean Tender Creme Cleanser is a total cleanser, with excellent results that you can feel.

Overall:

A solid 5 star rating from me. My skin was clean, soft, and moisturized. Best of all though was that it wiped away all traces of my makeup. I'd recommend this one to just about anyone who is a skin care fanatic. You will not be disappointed in this one.
