Review of Lacoste Inspiration, Perfume for Women

I absolutely love that a Marshall's opened up in town, because I have been coming across perfume deals like nobody's business. High end designer perfume that usually costs $50+ per bottle will cost nearly 75% less.

This was how I came across Lacoste Inspiration, Perfume for women. This bottle of fragrance usually costs $60 for a 1.5 ounce bottle. My deal? $12.00.

For $12.00 there was no way I was passing it up. I had no idea what it smelled like when I bought it, but I like surprises, and I hoped that Lacoste Inspiration packed a pleasant one.

The Bottle:

I usually save bottles after the perfume is all gone, some bottles that are plain I'll toss. When I opened up Lacoste Inspiration I had to admit that the bottle was pretty bland, and not one that I'd keep.

It has a round shape to it, the glass is clear and you can see the clear perfume inside of it. The bottles topper is a weird shaped clear topper that reminds me of a wine cork screw.

The Scent:

Yum, yum! I really hit the jackpot with Lacoste Inspiration. I was expecting a semi-manly scent, with a beachy scent to it, due to the blue package that it came in. Once I sprayed it though, my senses were tickled with fragrances that reminded me of a warm spring day.

The floral notes hit me first, followed by a clean freshly fallen rain scent, which eventually got capped of with a lovely fruity fragrance.

Overall the scent is like fruit, flowers, and rain. A mix that I loved, a mix that I think anyone could love.

Last:

So I loved the scent. I wondered though if the scent would last. Most fruity floral fragrances smell fantastic, but only stick around for a few short moments. I got lucky again, besides a powerful fragrant punch, Lacoste Inspiration also packs lasting linger.

Hours after spraying this one onto my clothing, I was still detecting hints of it every so often.

Overall:

Lacoste Inspiration pumps out a delicious spring scent, and the scent is long lasting. For the $12.00 I spent it was worth every penny. I asked myself after using it; if I could not find Lacoste Inspration for $12.00 again, would I buy it at standard price? The answer is yes, it's good enough to justify purchasing it at the usual price. A long lasting fragrance; heck yes!
