I always browse the perfume selection available at my local Marshall's
because they are very inexpensive, and I sometimes end up with a little
surprise at the end of the day whenever I buy something where I have no
idea what the scent has to offer. You see you can't test the fragrances
at Marshall' you get yelled at! Haha.
At any rate, I spotted Nanette Lepore on the shelf being sold for
$14.99, and figured I could use a new fragrance to toss in my bag for
daily scented touch ups. The package the perfume came in is what mostly
caught my eye. It's ultra pink, ultra girly, and looked like it would be
a decent fun fragrance.
The bottle is simply adorable, and seems to be shaped like a purse
type flask. It's got a cute little black silk ribbon attached to the top
of it, and a nice off pink creamy coloring to it. The bottle itself is
not see through though, which is a downer, because I always liked being
able to look quickly to see when I need a restock.
At any rate, the bottle is cute enough, and worthy of keeping even after the scent is all gone.
Speaking of the scent, Nanette Lepore is a lovely one, and I was happy
with my pick. It has a very fun, and flirty vibe going on, with
multiple scents that seem to hit you up in a layered manner.
The first note you smell lasts for about a half an hour, and that's a
deep and delicious floral fragrance of wet dewy violets. Once that
deeper note begins to fade you get a more herbal rose tea type scent
going on. Now rose is supposedly not even in this one, but that's what I
smell.
Once your florals seem to fade out you are left with a softer fresh peach and lime scent that livens the senses.
All in all Nanette Lepore is a delicious fragrance offering unique and
interesting mixes while you wear it. It's definitely girly, and it
lasts for hours on the skin, and even longer on clothing.
I'd totally recommend this one to those who seek after unique
fragrances like this. Nanette is clearly unique, and once you go through
the bottle of perfume, you are left with a cute little bottle worthy of
saving on your dresser top.
If you cannot locate this one at Marshall's look for it on Amazon,
where they sell it for around the same price range for the smaller 1.7
ounce bottle.
