Review of New Lush Gingerbread House Bubble Bar

While browsing through Lush's newest holiday collection of bath and body products, I knew immediately that Gingerbread House Bubble Bar would be one of those items that I had to purchase.

Although gingerbread is not a scent I adore too much, I simply fell in love with how Lush went and put this one together. On the site you see a cute orange colored bottom which is actually the base of a gingerbread house. On top of that base you have a cute little white roof etched out to look as if it is actual Gingerbread frosting, or snow. Right on top of the roof you have tiny bits of actual sprinkles to add to the charm of the entire gingerbread house bubble bar. However Lush went and added 1 extra piece of garnish that really sells this one, and that is the tiny cinnamon stick stuck into the roof to look like a chimney.

This little guy sells itself, and on arrival my little Gingerbread House Bubble Bar looked just like the one you see on Lush's website. It was made with detail, and done nicely.

The scent is powerful as well, so this particular bubble bar is not just eye candy. Through the package I could smell the delicious warm spiced notes of actual gingerbread, and a nice extra little zing of cinnamon and an undertone of lemon. It smells just like gingerbread though, and I actually really liked it. Out of the package it was even stronger, and more warm and inviting.

I knew that the bubble bar was large enough to be cut in half to use the other half at a later date, as most lush bubble bars do not really need to be crumbled under running water as a whole, as you will get a ton of bubbles using just half.

In this case, when it came to using Gingerbread House Bubble Bar, half did just the trick. It flooded my tub with warm gingerbread scented bubbles, and it was quite a nice bath. The bubble bar also silkens and softens the water, and it is truly a delicious fall and winter bubble bar, that I feel anyone would like, even those like myself who don't really even like the scent of gingerbread.

So far when it comes to Lush's winter collection, I have been impressed with everything I have tried, this particular bubble bar thus far has been my favorite though. It's a perfect winter downtime and provides a nice bubbly relaxing concoction for your bath. The bubbles are nicely scented, long lasting, and it's a little cutie.
