I had never in my life heard of Demeter Fragrance Library up until my
uncle included a full 1 ounce bottle of it in a recent bag of cosmetics,
and products for my mother and I.
The bottle of DEMETER Fragrance Library, Wet Garden is
pretty bland, but at the same time eye catching enough to grab your
attention. Plus it was cologne spray (I'd however call it perfume). Far
be it for me to not use it up!
Appearance:
DEMETER Fragrance Library, Wet Garden comes in a square shaped glass
bottle with the Demeter Fragrance Library logo right on the label. Below
the logo it states the scent within the bottle. Obviously Wet Garden.
The liquid inside of the bottle was clear, and I imagined it would
likely smell like Cool Water, or Fresh Linen with a little slice of
roses.
I was dead wrong, it did not smell like anything familiar!
Wet Garden smelled exactly like its name, a giant wet glorious garden filled with all sorts of wild grown flowers.
The scents I was able to pull out of DEMETER Fragrance Library, Wet
Garden was first and foremost Lillie's. Lillie's however were not the
only fresh flowers I smelled come from this cologne. I also was able to
note gardenia, honey suckle, a subtle hint of rose, and a very, very
light pinch of cedar (which I love).
DEMETER Fragrance Library, Wet Garden is a very floral scent with a
little dab of the rugged outdoors. To put it to you simply, DEMETER
Fragrance Library, Wet Garden smells pretty damn good. A scent that
women will likely enjoy more than men.
Last:
So it had been determined after just one small spray that I liked
DEMETER Fragrance Library, Wet Garden. I wondered though would DEMETER
Fragrance Library, Wet Garden like me? Would this unique scent stick
around long enough for it to have bragging rights, or would it vanish in
just a few short moments?
To test it, I sprayed the cologne all over my body, from my hair to my knees.
The scent stuck around for around 40 minutes. After that, the scent
became much lighter; still though I was able to smell Lillie's. The
other scents I first associated the spray with were gone. Not long
afterward though the scent was gone for good. Not a trace of it left
behind.
Overall I'd say I got a fair hour of scent out of DEMETER Fragrance
Library, Wet Garden. This is not long, but it is also a heck of a lot
better than other body sprays that don't even last a full 5 minutes.
Recommended:
Yep!
DEMETER Fragrance Library, Wet Garden in my opinion sticks around long
enough for me to consider it worthy of recommending. It also has a
unique scent like no other spray, perfume, or cologne I have ever used.
