Does Ardell LashGrip Adhesive Work? Will My Fake Eyelashes Stay Put?

I never wear fake eyelashes, in fact I have pretty sensitive eyes, so wearing mascara is sometimes a pain in the rear. When news of a formal event popped up though, I knew that I wanted thicker looking lashes, without having to apply mascara, which is usually the death of me anyway.

I decided I would wear fake lashes, but only the half lashes that sit to the sides of the eyes, that way not too much weight would be added to my eyelids. I know I am not the only person to have sensitive eyes like this, so I wanted to share this one with all of you ladies out there whom cannot stand fake lashes or mascara on their eyes.

Well let me say, Ardell makes wonderful fake eyelashes. You barely feel them on your lids, they weigh nothing so won't be a discomfort, and are perfect for you whom have sensitive eyes like me.

When it comes to their lashes, I love them, but I wondered how well their eyelash adhesive would hold up. Would the adhesive hold lashes all day and night, and would the adhesive be easily noticed by others?

I picked up a tube of Ardell LashGrip Adhesive with hopes that the glue would work strong, it would set fast, and that no one would be able to notice it on my eyelids.

I first got out my lashes, and applied a thin layer of the adhesive glue to the back of the eyelash grip area. The glue was white, and made it easy to see where I was applying. The problem though is that the hole in the tubes applicator is a bit large so squeezing to hard could really mess things up, so take it slow or you could end up destroying the lashes with glue leaking onto them.

One I had the line of glue in place I applied the lash to my eyelid where I wanted it to sit. It stuck to my lid immediately and quickly the white glue began to dry clear. I was really happy with how quickly everything worked out.

After the glue completely dried I was able to easily glide my eyeliner and eyeshadow onto my eyes without a problem. The eyeliner went right over the glue and masked the shiny glues appearance up without a flaw.

I placed the lashes on at around 10am, and had a perfect snug fit till I removed them with simple makeup removal pads which loosened the glue without a problem.

Overall:

Basically if you are looking for eyelash adhesive that lasts for as long as you want your lashes to stay on, then look no further than LashGrip by Ardell.
