I have liked and disliked a few of the fragrances in Mariah Carey's
fragrances, but none of them ever stood out as worthy of re-buying once
the bottle ran out of perfume. When I saw an ad for her newest
collection though, I have to say I was pretty excited to give all 3 of
them a try.
Luckily for me, the same ad contained 3 samples, each sample containing the fragrance of her Lollipop Bling Collection.
Today I wanted to focus on the one scent in the group that seemed to have the strongest scent in the set. Mine Again.
Mine Again, when purchased will come in a nifty deep blood red colored
bottle, with the official butterfly topper that all of Mariah Carey's
fragrances have on top. It's a nice bottle, and with its red coloring
you would expect this one to be seductive, strong, and lingering.
I wouldn't necessarily call Mine Again seductive though, unless you
were pregnant and had a craving for chocolate, because this is basically
what you get from Mine Again. It's a strong scent at first, and the
obvious notes of cocoa are present first and foremost, followed up by a
softer fruity and floral hint that seems to tame the chocolate scent
down a bit.
It's easy enough to wear, but not necessarily a fragrance you would
want to wear on a daily basis. I imagine I would enjoy a little Mine
Again around Christmas or Halloween time, when chocolate seems to be a
pig out choice of mine.
All in all, Mine Again is not bad, it has quite a bit of lingering
lasting scent to it, and I got that just from a sample, so I imagine the
real liquid deal would last even longer on clothing and skin.
Mine Again sells for around $35.00 per 1 ounce bottle. I'd suggest
waiting on a 3 piece set to hit shelves though, because more than likely
around the holidays they will be packaging all 3 scents together in a
set. I would suggest buying the Lollipop Bling collection that way,
instead of individually at $35 a pop! Yikes!
