Does Estee Lauder Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher Really Work? So, Does it Shrink Pores? Really, Does it Work?

I never ever had large pores on my face. In my early '20s my face was flawless, and the only imperfection you would find on my skin is one ugly scar on my cheek from chicken pox I got when I was 5.

Unfortunately though I'm not 20 anymore. I'm 26, and although 26 is still considered young, I have for the past 6 years noticed the skin on my face changing.

I now get random bouts of dry patches, oily patches, and worst of all I can now see pores! FRIGGING PORES! Something I never ever had to deal with before.

I have in my time bought so many products to try and minimize the appearance. I've tried toners, lotions, creams, all promising the same thing. Pore minimizing! Sadly though, only about 1% of everything I've ever tried actually showed results. Also, if I didn't keep up with the daily regime, the pores would pop back open again. Ugh!

When I was given a vile of Estee Lauder Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher, I thought that it wouldn't work. I thought it was another one of those wasteful skin care regimes, and honestly I didn't even want a part of it.

My cousin though swore by it, and swore I'd see fast result. She also told me that her store sells more of this than they do any other facial care lotion.

It took me about a week to finally take some time out of my schedule to give Estee Lauder Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher a try.

Appearance:

The lotion, or cream... (what have you) comes in a soft pastel white bottle, with an easy to use push down pump.

My Use:

I pushed down on the pump, and the cream came pushing through the applicator like a newborn baby terd.

The lotion itself was white, but it had a glycerin type gelatinous material within it that made it look like Vaseline with color to it.

I spread the formula all over my face. Immediately I could tell it had a greasy texture to it, but it was not a greasy texture that I disliked. It was more like rubbing silk on my face, and to be quite honest it was actually rather soothing on the skin.

I worried though that it would create break outs, because usually when I put something on my face with such a texture to it, I break out.

Estee Lauder Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher though absorbed into my skin relatively fast, and left it feeling so soft, and so moisturized.

Most pore minimizing products I've used in my time dried out my skin, but Estee Lauder Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher actually hydrated my skin, and I liked it a lot.

Results?

As far as results go, I have been using Estee Lauder Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher for close to 2 weeks now, and although I can still point out my pores under a 10X vanity mirror, I will say that my skin looks healthier, and feels much, much softer. I no longer have bouts of dry skin, nor is my skin as oily.

I imagine after daily long term use, my pores may slightly be minimized, but so far 2 weeks, and more pores are still visible. They also don't look any smaller, so I'm not so sure it's going to go all that far when it comes to ridding my skin of the problem.

I do however love the new glow, I love the hydration, and I love how soft my face feels since using Estee Lauder Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher.

Where To Purchase:

They sell Estee Lauder Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher at Macy's, but you can find it online as well. The price though is going to set you back quite a bit. At $42.50 for a 1 ounce bottle.

They also are selling 1.7 ounce bottles on Amazon for around $87.00. So definitely buy the 1 ounce at Macy's if you want to give it a try.
