Enhance Your Eye Color Using Makeup: A Guide for Those with Green Eyes

Hey there green eyes, you're quite a rare treat. Did you know that green eyes are more rare than any other eye color? No! Well now you know. Kiss mom and dad, you have one of the sexiest eye colors there is.

For those with green eyes though, there are many different hues of the color. I have seen people with light green eyes, aqua green eyes, dark moss green eyes, and so on. There is no one color of green when it comes to eyes; there are many.

I fall into to category of very light pale moss green eyes. My eyes however change colors, from light to dark green, and depending on the makeup or outfit I am wearing, I can manipulate how light or dark they look. Makeup however is the vital key in how stunning, or drab, my eye color looks.
I have seen many makeup products being sold on the market that claim to use, this and that color for enhancing eyes. But you know what? None of them do as promised.

Brown eyeshadow actually makes my eyes look smaller, and yellows and bronzes drag more attention to the eye lid, than the eye color, so all of those kits that promise to enhance your eye color; I find them to be a waste.

While brown and green placed next to one another looks nice, its also too neutral. I find that shimmering purple shadows, or shimmering blues and pinks look best with my eye color.

When putting on makeup, I first start with a light smoky gray color. I cover the entire lid, and leave the upper brow area unfinished. Next I take a very, very small amount of purple, pink, or blue Pearl EX Pigment Powder, and add a small amount of it to the lid in the corner of my eyes closest to the nose.

After that I then use Pearl EX Micro Pearl (the color) to add sparkling highlights to the upper brow region.

To top it all off, I then use black eyeliner in a cat eyes finish. The eye not only looks beautiful, but it also lets my green eyes pierce through like knives.

The absolute best technique that I find when it comes to enhancing my green eye color is to use black eyeliner. Skip out on browns, blues, and all of those other ridiculous eyeliner colors. Black is the way to go, it will allow your eyes to pop with rich color, and if enhancing is what you are looking to do, than black eyeliner is definitely for you.

Peal EX Powdered Pigments are also a must for anyone. The array of rich colors, and the last you get from these fantastic powders are nothing short of professional. They are best little known secret for women who want professional makeup for nearly nothing. They are so cheap, safe to use, and no one knows about them because they are used in crafts, so you won't find them down your makeup isle. You will never ever again have to buy eye shadows for $15.00 per color. Try $15.00 for an entire set!
