Estee Lauder, Body Performance, Mani Pedi Hand/Foot Cream Review

I usually love whenever someone gives me body lotions, body creams or anything else that has to do with improving my skin. However, when I was given a 6.7 ounce tube of Estee Lauder, Body Performance, Mani Pedi Hand/Foot Cream, I really didn't have much of a use for it.

My cousin who absolutely loves the stuff, swore I would love it too. Before even trying it though I knew it wouldn't be something I'd really like. My feet, and hands never really suffer from dry skin, flaky skin, or itchy skin, and usually I won't use something to cure such problems, unless I actually HAVE the problem.

Besides that, I imagined that it would be greasy, and possibly feel unnatural on my skin.

Estee Lauder, Body Performance, Mani Pedi Hand/Foot Cream came in a thin cardboard package similar to what perfume bottles come in. It is unnecessary but made the lotion seem more expensive and glitzy seeing that it came in the packaging. The tube alone would have been fine though.

The Promise:

According to the box, Estee Lauder, Body Performance, Mani Pedi Hand/Foot Cream will pamper even the driest of skin types. It will leave skin silky, smooth, and soft.

My Use:

I squeezed a little bit of the cream out into my palms. The cream itself is white, with a semi thick consistency, but not too thick. In other words, the texture was pretty standard to being a cream or a lotion. In this case though, it's called a cream.

The scent hit me as soon as I began rubbing it into my skin. It's nothing really to g crazy over. It has a normal clean fresh scent that is likable, but not something I fell in love with enough to continue using it time and time again.

I rubbed it into my skin and it did absorb pretty quickly. The plus is that it didn't leave my skin greasy or feeling unnatural. I imagined that it would though due to it's thicker consistency.

My skins texture felt slightly softer, and a little silky, but unfortunately it didn't stick around long. In fact it seemed that just a few moments after the cream absorbed the silky soft feeling vanished with it. The scent also was no longer detectable.

Overall:

For me, Estee Lauder, Body Performance, Mani Pedi Hand/Foot Cream is mediocre cream. I've used cheaper creams that left scent behind for hours, and kept my skin feeling silky. Estee Lauder, Body Performance, Mani Pedi Hand/Foot Cream left as quickly as it absorbed into my skin.

Although it could provide some relief on dry skin, it won't last long enough for me to even bother recommending it.

Pricing and Availability:

Estee Lauder, Body Performance, Mani Pedi Hand/Foot Cream was bought at Macy's, and the price varies from $10-$30 depending on where you buy it, and what size tube you pick. You can find it on ebay for a better deal.

Personally, though, I feel that you can find better.
