I have thick wavy hair naturally, so curling my hair does not require
much attention. Some hair gel, some scrunching, and voila, I have thick
bouncy curls.
My sister on the other hand has natural pin straight hair, that is
also very thin. Using a curling iron on hair like hers will work, but
the moment she steps outside and humidity sets in, those curls she
worked on for nearly an hour literately unwrap right before your eyes.
In the past she has complained about not being able to curl her hair,
so she finally just gave up trying. Eventually though she discovered a
very simple solution to curling her hair, and keeping those curls.
A solution that I think all women whom have super pin straight hair could benefit from.
For those of you with super straight hair, you are definitely going to
need hair wax in order to curl your hair, and keep the curls lasting as
long as possible!
Although hair wax feels a little gross when you first put it on, it
will dry relatively soft, and will keep your curls in place. It pretty
much manipulates the hair, and it lasts; so if you are looking to curl
your hair than definitely do it with hair wax.
Now I'm sure all of you know that not all brands are created alike.
However one particular hair wax is praised by women over and over again,
and that product is FX Special Effects Molding Wax Pliable Hair Wax, Flexible Hold.
It has a pretty thick waxy texture that likely you are not going to
like at first, but trust me it leaves hair in place the way you want it,
giving you complete control over how each strand of hair looks.
Besides allowing you to manipulate your hair, it will reduce frizz, it
will leave hair smelling fantastic, and the hold is very strong, so
your curls are not going anywhere, but on your head.
I recommend putting a small amount of FX Special Effects Molding Wax Pliable Hair Wax, Flexible Hold
into your hair and setting your curling iron on the lowest possible
setting to curl hair. You will be amazed at how well this stuff works,
and will be amazed at how long your curls last!
If you have over processed hair, you could manipulate curls by using
heat free hair rollers. First add the wax, and then add the curlers for a
few moments.
FX Special Effects Molding Wax Pliable Hair Wax, Flexible Hold
can be found in just about any superstore, or drug store. The tin of wax
usually comes to around $6.00, and is well worth the price. You can
also pick it up online. Click here to be taken to Walgreen's, where they sell the molding wax.
My sister praises this stuff, and I too have even found it useful for creating a fan away look on my ends.
