How Will Blue 3 Tone EyeLike Contact Lenses Look on Light Green Eyes?

I have been on an endless quest to finding the perfect low priced colored contact lenses for my light green eyes. A few years ago I fell in love with Ciba Vision Illusions in Aqua, but the price for these contact lenses are pretty high, and at this moment I really am not looking to spend $300 on them.
However after all of the trial and errors with these low priced contact lenses, I'm ready to just sign my paycheck away and buy my Illusions.

My most recent purchase was a new brand of colored lenses I had never heard of before, but they were selling for just $20.00 a pair. I went with a 3 tone lens in blue. The brand is labeled EyeLike.

Now on the websites selling these contacts, they looked pretty phenomenal on all of the photographs. I figured I would get what I saw. Sadly on my light green eyes, all I got were darker mossy colored green eyes. I was hoping that these lenses would simply make my green eyes pop more, and look more alluring with a nice new tint to them, like my Illusions had done.

Unfortunately this was not the case, the EyeLike 3 Tone Blue Colored Contact Lenses simply darkened my eyes.

Now on my mother who has dark brown eyes, the EyeLike Blue 3 Tone Lenses actually worked magic for her, her brown eyes now had a beautiful popping blue glow to them, and it's usually very hard to find contacts that look good on her brown eyes, without looking fake.

All in all, skip these contact lenses if you have light green eyes, however if you have brown eyes, EyeLike will work some wonders for you, and the result is very, very beautiful, and realistic.

I was a bit angry that they did not work well for me, because they were so comfortable in my eye, and come sold in one size. I was hoping the size would be OK for my eyes, and sure enough they were. Sadly they made my eyes look darker than they were.

I would highly recommend these low priced lenses to those with dark eye colors though, as you will see nice blue eyes as a result.
