Review of Realities Sweet Desire by Liz Claiborne Body Lotion

I fell in love with the scent Realities Sweet Desire by Liz Claiborne a few months ago, and swallowed up the whole bottle of perfume on my body in less than a month. Initially I hated how it smelled, however as I began to wear it more and more the scent took me over, and it became one that I couldn't live without.

When I came across an entire set which included the perfume, shower gel and body lotion for under $20.00 I was not passing it up.

Up on the bath and body chopping block today we have the body lotion.

Realities Sweet Desire Body Lotion comes in a pink squeeze tube, and upon opening it up and squeezing some of the lotion out, the very first thing I noted was that the body lotion had the exact scent I was expecting, nothing changed, nothing different, a sweet refreshing odd mix of spice and flowers.

Texture:

Sweet Desire Body Lotion has a really runny texture which was disappointing because as I flipped the tube, the lotion pretty much came dribbling out of it on its own.

It applies rather simply, and absorbs nearly the moment it touches your skin. There sadly are no benefits to the lotion besides the sweet fragrance. It does not moisturize, or leave skin feeling soft. Basically it is nothing more than perfumed lotion. That is fine if you are just after the scent, but I like lotions that have a little extra, extra something included to benefit the skin.

Last:

Realities Sweet Desire Body Lotion does pack a lasting scent, so this is a plus. I got around 2 hours of recognizable scent till it faded away.

Overall:

This body lotion is basically perfume in a lotion form, as it will not do anything for your skin as far as moisturization goes.

It is still a lovely scent though, and if you can find it in a set go ahead and buy it, however I can't really recommend purchasing the lotion as is alone.
