L'Oreal Kerastase Nutritive Nacre Nutri-Sculpt Shine Enhancing Treatment Wax For Dry, Sensitised Hair

I have extremely thick hair, so much so that I swear to God, I have more caveman blood in me than the rest of the human race. I'm talking unruly, and a 4 foot wingspan if I don't straighten it. At any rate, I try not too add too many things to my hair, because over the years I have found that adding gunk to my funk only makes my hair look worse, and feel worse.

However recently I was given a jug of L'Oreal Kerastase Nutritive Nacre Nutri-Sculpt Shine Enhancing Treatment Wax, for dry, sensitised hair.

Now my hair usually looks really nice and moisturized when I straighten it, however if I do not iron it out, the ends will dry naturally and they look burnt, frazzled, and dull. I figured I would give this L'Oreal Kerastase Nutritive Nacre Nutri-Sculpt Shine Enhancing Treatment Wax a shot. If it worked, excellent. If not...oh well, another jug of hair product to the trash can.

L'Oreal Kerastase Nutritive Nacre Nutri-Sculpt Shine Enhancing Treatment Wax comes in a 1.7 ounce plastic container, with an orange screw off lid, featuring the name of the product.

How To Apply:

According to the directions, all I had to do was rub some of the wax into my palms, and apply it to my hair in sections. By doing this I could also sculpt my hair while applying. I knew though that sculpting hair as thick as mine would be a mission impossible, so I basically just applied the wax to sections of my hair and pressed down in order to settle some of the frizz (thick hair is very prone to frizz).

Texture:

The texture of L'Oreal Kerastase Nutritive Nacre Nutri-Sculpt Shine Enhancing Treatment Wax is actually not as awful as you would imagine. Usually when something uses the word WAX in it's product title, the formula is usually very thick, nasty, greasy and gooey. L'Oreal Kerastase Nutritive Nacre Nutri-Sculpt Shine Enhancing Treatment Wax though is neither of those. In fact it feels more like a thick type of leave in conditioner, which is actually soft to the touch.

Scent:

The scent is not really my favorite smell in the world, but it is tolerable. To me L'Oreal Kerastase Nutritive Nacre Nutri-Sculpt Shine Enhancing Treatment Wax smells like old lipstick. Like that dry smell lipstick tends to get if you don't use if for a long time.

My Use:

As I began pressing my hair down I immediately noticed an improvement. It was no hair miracle, but still it did manage to relax my thick unruly hair. The wax dried into my hair really quickly and did not leave it feeling weighed down or greasy. I was pretty happy with the results, and honestly was not expecting it to work quite as well as it actually did.

I imagine that on thinner hair this stuff would work like a charm, and possibly even be considered a miracle hair product. For those with thick frizzy hair like mine though, you will only be seeing a 30% difference in your hair.

Recommended?

Yes. It actually does improve hair without leaving behind film or greasy texture.

Where To Buy:

I have no idea where my uncle picked this one up, but I have come across it online from $25 to $56.
