Lush: The Sicilian Bath Bomb - review

I have a list of my all time favorite things from Lush. Nothing new ever really lands a spot onto my top 10 list though, because I primarily re-order the same things over and over again, and the new products Lush releases never really impress me all that much.

That has all changed though, because The Sicilian Bath Bomb managed to not only make it onto my top 10 list, but it managed to grab the number 1 slot.

This bath bomb is pure bliss in a 6.3 ounce bath treat, and it is one that I will order again, and again, and again.

Why?

At first glance, The Sicilian does not look like much. It has a pastel yellow color to it, and it is clear that there is something residing within the bomb, but you just don't know what it is till you pop it into the tub. I imagined the odd flecks were some sort of spice or herb, because Lush is known for adding such extras into their bath bombs.

Once I added it to water though, I got to discover exactly what the odd little flecks were.

As The Sicilian melted I noticed orange pulp rising to the surface of the water. The pulp though was not the only thing I noticed.

The scent began to fill my senses at full blown force, and it was truly to die for.

Overall I was smelling a very strong and potent scent of freshly squeezed oranges. There was nothing fake, chemical, or unnatural about the scent at all. The Sicilian seriously smelled like freshly squeezed oranges, and I was fell in love.

As The Sicilian began to melt even more I noticed that it had something packed within the bomb that I was not expecting. As it melted away, I realized that Lush had stuffed The Sicilian with an actual slice of orange!

Although it was a dried out slice, it still added to the whole orange grove atmosphere that the bomb managed to give off, and I loved the addition.

Besides smelling like a tropical orange paradise, The Sicilian also managed to turn my water into a soft wonderland. My skin felt softer, and more moisturized after getting out of the bath. Not only that I felt very, very clean. The bomb in general just lifted my spirits.

What I loved about it primarily though was it's natural orange scent, and the fact that this delicious scent stood with me for an entire day. I could smell it on my skin, I could smell it in my hair. Every time I moved I could smell oranges, and it was delightful to say the least.

I highly recommend you pick up The Sicilian from Lush, or Lush.com. The bomb is totally worth the price! Get one before they are gone! Lush has a tendency to remove things from their inventory, and sometimes you have to wait for a very, very long time for that particular product to make a come back!
