Lush: Silent White Bath Bomb

I'm extremely happy that I decided to order myself a Silent White Bath Bomb from Lush.com, because just 4 days after placing my order, the Silent White Bath Bomb disappeared from their site, before the holidays were even over! I imagined they would bring it back, but they never did. It sold out, and it was gone!

The Silent White Bath Bomb didn't really capture my interest all that much due to its plain white color; but with a name like Silent White, I knew that I had to try it. It reminded me of a large snowball; fitting for the cold season that we were in.

Silent White arrived looking just like the bath bomb on the Lush.com website. A plain white 6.3 ounce ball, with nothing really spectacular about it. I will say though that it did remind me of an icy looking snowball, so even though it was dull looking, it still managed to paint an image in my mind of slow silent snow falls.

I ran myself a tub, got in, and plopped in Silent White along side me.

The bomb fizzes away slowly, and as it fizzed it didn't really produce anything all that stunning. The scent it gave off was very chemically, powdery, and faint.

My bath water turned a little bit softer, but not as soft as other Lush Bath Bombs are capable of doing.
All in all, Silent White was just a mediocre bath bomb in my opinion. It turned my bath water a pale milky white, with a very, very faint hue of baby blue which was rather pretty; but at the same time the bath itself was rather bland.

Usually when I take a bath using one of Lushes bath bombs, I stay in the water until it grows somewhat cold. With Silent White though, I really wasn't all that excited to soak in the water all that long.

After getting out to dry up my skin was left somewhat feeling soft, but my skin didn't feel all that moisturized, nor did the Silent White Bath Bomb manage to leave any of its faint powdery scent behind on my body for me to enjoy.

It was like bathing in warm milk. Nothing spectacular, but at the same time nothing horrible. I have however used bath bombs from Walmart that worked much better than this one, so it was a little bit disappointing.

If you are still interested in trying this one though, do know that Lush is not selling it at this moment. Silent White was a limited edition holiday product. You can however still pick this particular bath bomb up on Ebay. If you are not going to get it for half off the original price though, than I recommend you skip out on it.
