Nektar Face Stockholm Lip Gloss- Nejlika

Whenever my Uncle comes out for a visit he brings my mother and I bags filled with creams, lotions, cosmetics and perfumes, mainly what we find in these bags are products from companies neither of us have ever heard of.

When I pulled out a small squeeze tube called Nektar Face Stockholm, I was baffled. I had never heard of this stuff, never heard of this company, and never even read or seen an article mentioning such a brand.

I took it upon myself to research this Nektar Face Stockholm online, and came across a website filled with a bunch of goodies. Seeing how I personally only got the opportunity to try out a lip gloss by the company, I figured I may as well review it.

First let me mention the color. This particular lip gloss is called (read for this weirdness?) Nejlika. Yea... say that 3 times fast!
 
This particular color is a pouty shiny pink, upon close inspection you can see itty bitty micro flecks of gold shimmer. Nothing special in my opinion, I've seen and used plenty of different pink lip glosses, and imagined that this one would be no better than the next.

Well I was wrong. Unlike other lip glosses, actually leave color behind, and the color lasts. Not only that it goes on naturally and leaves lips feeling smooth and moisturized. For me, Nektar Face Stockholm Lip Gloss- Nejlika feels more like a lip balm, or chap-stick on the lips, beneficial...yet beautiful at the same time.

Now the color remained on my lips for a good solid hour, which isn't too shabby for lip gloss. Most are lucky to last for 10 minutes.

However the colors lasting effect is not the only thing to go ga-ga over, it is the fact that even when the glosses color is wearing thin, the feeling on your lips will not. Your lips stay smooth, fee moisturized, and they will not dry out... for nearly half the day. Yeah, thats some pretty heavy duty lip gloss wouldn't you say?

My Use:
 
I'm not much of a fan of lipstick, or lip products, but when things are given to me for free, I use them, and I use them up then never buy them again. Nektar Face Stockholm Lip Gloss- Nejlika however is one of those products that I know I will end up coming back to time after time. Not only for the color, but for the way it leaves my lips feeling, and just because it leaves them feeling that way longer than any other product I have ever used.

A 0.45 ounce plastic squeeze tube however will set you back $19.00, which is a little too steep in my opinion. If you suffer from dry lips though, and want to add color, this is definitely worth the splurge.

I recommend using Nektar Face Stockholm Lip Gloss- Nejlika alone, or on top of your favorite lipstick for a one of a kind lip color.
