The moment I learned that Soap & Glory released a slew of new
products to their line of bath and body goodies, I had to try them all.
Although I couldn't pick every single item up in one shot due to the
high prices, I have been picking them up little by little with each
shopping trip to Target though.
One of the newest products is called Soap & Glory iFoam Ultra-Creamy Body Wash.
Initially I was going to leave it behind, but the moment I clicked the
cap on the squeeze tube of the wash, I fell in love with the fresh
uplifting scent of oranges, cream, and a hint of bitter grapefruit.
It had such a refreshing uplifting beat to it that I had to buy it. It reminded me of summer, and I miss the season so much!!!
The Soap & Glory iFoam Ultra-Creamy Body Wash is part of their Spa
collection, but smells nothing like the original Spa collection
products. The originals had a minty scent to them, and frankly I never
liked anything all too much in their Spa collection. iFoam though is a
whole new story!!!
I have used ultra creamy body washes before, and I simply love them.
They have a much more velvety texture to them, an they leave the skin
feeling like silk hours after using it. I hoped that Soap & Glory
iFoam Ultra-Creamy Body Wash would have the same sort of outcome.
My Use:
The cream itself comes running out of the tube rather quickly, so if
you do happen to pick it up and use it, don't squeeze too hard on the
tube.
The cream itself is an off white color. When it ran out of the tube as
quickly as it did, I did not think that it would foam up at all. It
seemed far too much like a lotion than it did a body wash.
However the moment I began to work the cream into my bath loofah, I
was surprised at how quickly it transformed into a magical world of ooey
gooey sweet bubbles. The later was similar to what shaving cream feels
like on legs, but smoother, creamier, and it that gorgeous orange cream
scent began to fill the room.
After rinsing the foam from my skin it left it feeling as smooth as butter.
Unfortunately though the smoothing feeling is short lived, and it did
not leave my skin feeling very moisturized after drying up.
The refreshing orange scent also vanished pretty quickly after drying up, which was pretty disappointing.
Overall:
It feels wonderful on the skin while using it in the shower. It also
smells fantastic in the shower. As soon as you step out of the shower
and dry up though, all traces of Soap & Glory iFoam Ultra-Creamy
Body Wash get absorbed within your towel.
Would I recommend it?
In a way yes, because it does really liven up shower time. For those
looking for long lasting effects for the skin, or a long lasting scent,
I'd say skip it.
Where to Buy:
I picked up Soap & Glory iFoam Ultra-Creamy Body Wash for $9.99, which is not so bad for what it does.
