I've aways been a huge fan of Soap & Glory, and I have always been a
fan of body scrubs...put the two together and we have found heaven
packaged into a 6.7 ounce pink squeeze tube.
I recently learned that Soap & Glory had released a huge selection
of new products. I have been scooping up the newbies left and right,
and so far have found love in nearly everything I bought. One of my all
time favorite products thus far though, hands down, goes to Soap & Glory, Sensational Scrub Actually.
Not only is the pink squeeze tube, with the retro picture slapped on
to it adorable and welcoming, but so is the actual product.
Now I am sure when you think of scrubs you think of pain, skin ripping, reddening pain, but Soap & Glory, Sensational Scrub Actually,
managed to make a product that is not only powerful, but it is also
easy on the skin. Those with extremely sensitive skin though may want to
pass this one up, because it does pack a powerful scrubbing action. For
those with regular skin types though you will find softening love in a
bottle.
When I went to use Soap & Glory, Sensational Scrub Actually I
first tried a little bit of it on my face. I squeezed a small plop of
the scrub out into my hand and examined the texture. To be honest the
scrub looked like it would be painful on the face.
It is a light transparent pink gel, with what looked like scrub salts
within the gel. It looked like it would hurt, so I splashed my face with
water first, and then slowly rubbed the scrub into my cheeks and
forehead. I have combination oily skin, so I knew the scrub would likely
work wonders on ridding excess dry skin from my face, and would also
leave my oily skin clean as a cucumber.
The scent is light and refreshing. It has a tinge of the original
Soap& Glory scent to it, but at the same time as a new fragrant to
it. To me it smells like very watered down grapefruit. It's light and
likable all the same.
After scrubbing the scrub around my face for awhile, I then rinsed.
I was simply smitten by how soft my skin felt. Like baby's skin. It
was soft, smooth, and felt totally refreshed. I knew that when I used
Soap & Glory, Sensational Scrub Actually in the bath on my whole
body the result would be exactly the same.
I was right. I used Soap & Glory, Sensational Scrub Actually while taking a bath and was in love with my newly found skin.
The best thing about Soap & Glory, Sensational Scrub Actually
though is how long it left my skin feeling this way. The smoothing
feeling never left after drying up. It stood with me for hours, and left
me feeling spectacular.
Overall:
Soap & Glory, Sensational Scrub Actually is worth every cent. It
smooths skin, leaves it feeling new, refreshed, and the feeling lasts
for hours.
It's a scrub I highly recommend. An allover scrub I highly recommend, for the body and even the face.
Pricing:
Soap & Glory, Sensational Scrub Actually is priced at around $11.00, and is sold exclusively at Target.
