Organix Revitalizing Pomegranate Green Tea Shampoo

A few weeks ago I absolutely fell in love with Organix Coconut Milk Shampoo, and the moment I hit up my local Target I knew exactly what I would be going for. More Organix shampoo!!!

I came across Organix Revitalizing Pomegranate Green Tea Shampoo, and the moment I gave it an official in store sniff test I knew this stuff would be coming home with me.

Scent:

Organix Revitalizing Pomegranate Green Tea Shampoo, smells exactly like melted gummy bears and DumDum Lollipops. It's sweet, sugary, with a little hint of something deliciously fruity. A scent that I just could not deny.

The Promise:

According to the back of the bottle, using Organix Revitalizing Pomegranate Green Tea Shampoo will target dry and brittle hair, while leaving it clean and shiny. Basically they claim using Organix Revitalizing Pomegranate Green Tea Shampoo is a 'revitalizing' experience.

With the scent being so delicious, I imagine that using Organix Revitalizing Pomegranate Green Tea Shampoo would not only revitalize your hair, but your mind as well. An aromatherapy session if you will. That's just my take though.

In The Shower:

I squeezed a little bit of Organix Revitalizing Pomegranate Green Tea Shampoo into my hand while in the shower and was pretty surprised at it's gel like consistency.

Unlike other conditioners I'm used to with more pretty pearly attributes, Organix Revitalizing Pomegranate Green Tea Shampoo has a thick jelly like texture, with a ton of little air bubbles in it. It seriously reminded me of pink colored hair gel. It was weird, but it smelled delicious, so I went ahead and put some in my hair.

The shampoo bubbles up nearly immediately leaving behind a thick frothy foam in your hair. It feels really nice too, and oddly enough it felt very, very moisturizing. Most shampoos don't really moisturize my hair, they dry my hair out, so I was pretty surprised that Organix Revitalizing Pomegranate Green Tea Shampoo added moisture, and didn't take away moisture.

Mommy like!!!

Dry Time:

When my hair dries, this is where I determine if I love the product or hate the product. Unfortunately Organix Revitalizing Pomegranate Green Tea Shampoo failed to impress me, and likely I won't buy it again.

I loved it while using it in the shower, but as my hair began to dry it began to rise, like dough in an oven. Sigh. Organix Revitalizing Pomegranate Green Tea Shampoo puffed out my hair, and made it even thicker than it already is. This just added to the styling time, and I spend enough time on my hair, so it was sort of annoying, and disappointing because I absolutely loved the scent.

The scent stood around for hours after showering, but sadly it made my hair look pretty fluffy.

Recommendation:

Although I can't recommend Organix Revitalizing Pomegranate Green Tea Shampoo to those with thick hair, I will say that Organix Revitalizing Pomegranate Green Tea Shampoo may work wonders for those who have thin hair, and would like to add some thickness and bounce to their thin hair. Likely this stuff will do the trick. I recommend pairing it with the sister conditioner as well.

Where To Buy:

You can buy Organix Revitalizing Pomegranate Green Tea Shampoo exclusively at Target for $6.99 a bottle. You can find it down the hair care isle. For more information on Organix Revitalizing Pomegranate Green Tea Shampoo click here to go to the official website.
