I came across Fresh SugarBath Lychee Bath Cubes sitting on the floor of
our bathroom next to the tub. I remembered my uncle giving my mother and
I this glass jar filled with what I though were small cubes of
unimpressive bath fizzes. They sat there for quite some time because
they never stuck out as spectacular or even worth using, especially
seeing that I always had something that looked better, smelled better
and was much larger than some little dinky looking white cube.
However, I was out of bath bombs, and I saw them sitting there, so I figured why not try them?
Fresh SugarBath Lychee Bath Cubes comes in a frosted glass jar with a
twist of lid. There was really nothing spectacular about them, but they
came in a glass jar, and any bath junkie knows that if it comes in
glass, it's mainly packing class. Nothing more.
When I twisted off the lid, I took in a giant sniff and to be honest
there was nothing all to impressive. In fact the scent was very bland.
According to the packaging, these small sugar bath cubes contain real
brown sugar which is meant to heal wounds, cuts, and will speed up the
healing process. Wow! I'm being sarcastic, because I wasn't impressed at
all. Besides the brown sugar speech, Fresh SugarBath Lychee Bath Cubes
are also supposedly great at removing dead skin cells.
Directions:
Pop a few into the tub, and melt the day away.
It sounded pretty vague, but I figured using only one small cube wouldn't do much of anything, so I threw in 2 more.
My Use:
As I figured! The sugar cubes don't fizz, nor do they leave any hint
of delicious scent behind. They are basically as bland as the classy
glass jar they came in. The water however got extremely soft as the
Fresh SugarBath Lychee Bath Cubes began to melt. Unfortunately though
this soft silky feeling of my water can be achieved by using a basic
bath bomb. Even the cheap $2.00 bath bombs you can find at Walmart leave
the water silky soft.
Dry Time:
Once out of the tub, I did notice that my skin felt very soft, but
like I said, this is a feeling any 'ol bath bomb can give. Heck, try a
Lush Bath Melt for even better results!
All in all, Fresh SugarBath Lychee Bath Cubes did leave my skin pretty
soft, but it lacked a heavenly scent. For the price that Fresh
SugarBath Lychee Bath Cubes sells for I would HAVE to recommend you skip
entirely, and just head on over to www.Lush.com for even better products, for much better prices.
If you for some reason though are still tempted to try this bland
little cubes in a jar, go ahead and pick them up at Amazon for a
whopping $34.00. I'd say you're getting jacked, but that's just me.
