Whenever I go out doing my routine shopping, I always stop in at the
cosmetics section to look at the newest nail polish colors. Nicole by
Opi is a personal favorite of mine, with the non-stop new additions of
bold, bright and beautiful colors.
Over the past month though, nothing really new caught my eye until
recently when I came across a beautiful emerald city colored green
polish.
I flipped over the bottle and even though I think Emerald City would
have been a better name for it, this one was labeled Fell From the Tree;
which I suppose is suiting, as the color does have a very rich and deep
evergreen tree coloring to it.
What I especially liked about it though, aside from the sparkling deep
green color, was the fact that at different angles, the polish turned
into a cool and psychedelic gray green, as if there were deep particle
of silver gray added to the color for the neat effect.
I hoped on my nails the color would show up this way.
My Use:
Fell From the Tree goes on just as easily as any other Nicole by Opi
nail color. Fell From the Tree also dries just as fast. By the time I
finished painting my last fingernail, the first nail I painted was
already dry and ready for a second coating of the polish.
The color on my nails looked fantastic, and the bold deep green
coloring showed, and shined like crazy. The grayish tint though that I
saw in the bottle did not show on my fingernails. I was OK with this
though because the emerald coloring is simply beautiful.
Overall:
I would highly recommend this one to just about anyone. Green has
never been a favorite color of mine, but this nail polish made me change
my mind, I now like green colors. Even if green is not a favorite of
yours you will find love in this bottle, and it makes for a great color
to have for outfit matching.
The last on this nail polish is also really long lived, and you can
expect to see no fading or chipping for at least a week after
application. However if you are a nail color junkie like myself, odds
are you will change it up in a day or two.
