Review: Donna Karan Cashmere Mist Body Cream

I've been a fan of Donna Karan's Cashmere Mist ever since I was given half a tube of the body cream about a year ago. When I ran out of the body cream recently I decided to add it to my Christmas list. I hoped someone would deliver, and sure enough they did. 

 What makes Donna Karan's Cashmere Mist Body Cream so desirable is the fact that its long lasting lingering scent is sexy. There is no other was to put it. The scent is sexy, sultry, and intoxicating.

The scent is like a light, yet powerful musk, mixed with what reminded me of sweet florals. The scent is supposed to only be recognized by the wearer, and those next to her.

Most scents are only recognized by those close to you, however Donna Karan Cashmere Mist has that special something that allows both the wearer, and those near the wearer to be able to recognize the sultry scent.

The body cream in particular will layer your body with the heavenly aroma of Cashmere Mist, and the scent will stick with you like bee's to honey.

Donna Karan Cashmere Mist body cream comes in a plain standard squeeze tube, with the DK logo written on it in black. The cream itself is rather expensive, but I'm telling you each drop is worth every penny. A 6.7 ounce tube of the cream will cost around $50.00, give or take a few bucks. I know most of you are thinking that the price is insane, but the tube contains more than enough body cream to last nearly a year with daily use.

The other plus is that you do not need to use a lot, as a little goes a long way.

The cream itself is semi-thick in consistency, but it rubs into the skin like silk butter, and absorbs quickly. Most fragrant body creams do not really moisturize, but Donna Karan Cashmere Mist Body Cream moisturizes, and silkens the skin.

I usually add the body cream to my entire body after a shower in order to really cling the scent to myself, and to my clothes after I put them on.

Donna Karan Cashmere Mist Body Cream is by far one of the best designer body creams available. The scent is alluring and intoxicating (not to mention extremely long lasting, and lingering). It's hands down one of my favorite body creams, and I'm confident in saying it is a cream that will become one of your favorites as well.
