I was pretty excited this weekend to come across a new selection in the
Soap & Glory line. If I had the money I'd honestly of bought every
single new item they had to offer (Yes, I love Soap & Glory that
much).
Although I couldn't walk away with all of their new items, I did walk
away with a few of them. The newest item up for review today is Soap
& Glory, Off Your Face Cleansing Cloths.
Seeing that I'm such an avid fan of their line, I went ahead and made the purchase.
I did however find that at close to $8.00, they were a bit pricey.
Normally I spend only up to $5.00 for cleansing wipes. Soap & Glory
though, sold as specialty bath and body products have always been a bit
pricey. In 90% of the cases though the price is well worth the product. I
hoped these new cleansing cloths were worth my $8.00.
In the store I couldn't rip the bag open to get a hint of what they
would smell like, so I had to wait till I got home to give it a try.
At home I yanked off the protective seal, and pulled out one of the
wipes. They are lightly infused with the formula which is supposed to
cleanse the face of dirt, and minimize the appearance of pores with the
pore minimizing formula.
The scent hit me first and foremost as I unfolded the wipe. It has the
same scent that their new Knead The Soap does. It's an herbal scent
mixed with what smells like licorice to me. I don't love the new scent
that Soap & Glory is using it, but I don't hate it either. I enjoy
the weird new twist of fragrance they've been using. I was just a little
surprised though at how it smelled like nothing from their line of
products.
I used the wipe entirely on my face. They removed all of my makeup
with ease, and I even had a lot left of the cloth to cleanse my neck and
even my ears!
It definitely left my skin feeling very clean, very refreshed, and smooth.
I was surprised that the cloth was able to do that for my skin type.
Most cleansing cloths I've used in the past have left my skin feeling
tight, and residue would feel left behind.
With the Off Your Face cleansing cloths though my sin felt neither. It felt clean, and I liked it.
The herbal scent stuck around for only a few short minutes, which was
good seeing that the scent is not an all time favorite. The Knead The
Soap has a similar scent but it's much sweeter and likable.
As far as sending$8.00 on them again though, I think I probably would
only because they are easy to tote with me in my bag, and they remove
all makeup with ease. Not only that, long term use will
eventually
reduce the appearance of pores, and God knows I could use some help in
that department!
Where To Buy:
All Soap & Glory products are sold exclusively on Target.
Amazon.com also sells them, but seeing that their new collection is so
new, they are not being sold online yet. You can only find them in
Target stores right now. In a few weeks I imagine they'll be available
online at Target.com.
