I've been a fan of Soap & Glory for a short amount of time now, but
whenever I become a fan of something, I become a loyal fan and I buy it
all.
This past weekend I was not at all expecting Soap & Glory to
release a slew of new products to my local Target...oh but they did!
My eyes lit up like it was Christmas morning; before me stood 5 or 6
unknown, unused products that I've yet to ever see! I grabbed them all.
Not even thinking about pricing.
I should have known better though, I know Soap & Glory is a
specialty bath and body company which is exclusive to Target, and I know
they are a bit pricier than most things.
Although I had to put back more than half my items, I did walk out
with a few of their newest things, and Feel The Knead Soap was one of
those things!
The Soap is really unique, as it will supposedly help reduce the
appearance of cellulite. The soap itself also has really neat kneading
fingers that are actually soap.
Massaging the thighs supposedly circulates the blood, which reduces the look of nasty cellulite bumps.
Knead The Soap is black in color, and is relatively large in size. The
soap however is rounded in shape and fits comfortably in the palm. One
side of the soap is flat, and the other of course features the unique
kneading fingers.
I was expecting the soap to have that official scent that nearly all
of Soap & Glory's products have. A nice sugary musk like scent mixed
with something fruity, fresh and alluring!
Knead The Soap though is definitely different with an herbal and
licorice scent to it. It reminded me a lot of something that Lush would
release, and it had a distinct Coalface look and scent about it that I
just loved. It was no Soap & Glory original scent, but the scent was
as equally charming and fitting.
As far as reducing cellulite though, I'd say I have seen no difference
so far. I do however enjoy the lather, the scent, and the way it makes
my skin feel after using it. It does have a tightening agent in it, and
it leaves skin feeling thinner, even though it may not look thinner! I
still really enjoy using it though, and I love the herbal scent it
leaves behind.
Lush better watch their backs, because Soap & Glory is up and
climbing in popularity with their unique products, and to die for girly
girl packaging! Plus they're located at Target, which makes them easier
to come by.
Knead The Soap came to close to $7.00, but with a hearty huge hunk of
soap and a smell his good it's well worth the price in my opinion.
Knead The Soap is a winner in my book, and I highly recommend it. Get
it fast, it's new and likely people will be rushing to stores to try it
out for themselves!
