Review of Cover Girl Boundless Nail Polish in Disco Dazzle #405

When I came across Cover Girl Boundless Nail Polish in Disco Dazzle I already knew what to expect of it. I had used nail polishes in the past exactly like this one. The same clear polish containing fine flecks of silver pieces of glitter, with larger round shaped flecks of hologram glitter pieces.

The results are all the same, beautiful finish, with really neat rainbow glistening flecks of glitter that change color with each and every subtle move. The downside however with polishes like this are that they are hard to get the larger hologram flecks onto the nail, as the brush does not seem to want to let them go. The second problem is that when you want to remove the polish from your nails, it's a tough job.

I had a feeling that Disco Dazzle would be exactly like the other glitter hologram polishes I have used before.

My Use:

I painted Disco Dazzle on top of my red nails for a neat festive like finish. Disco Dazzle was exactly like those other hologram glitter polishes I mentioned above.

The glitter flecks went on effortlessly, adding a nice starry dazzle to the nails, the hologram flecks however were a little shy. I was able to get around 3 or 4 flakes out onto each nail, and had to go back a second time to get a bit more onto the nail.

The entire process was a bit annoying, because I had to wait for the first layer of polish to dry in order to start the second layer to add more glitter. This would not have been such a big deal if the Cover Girl Boundless, Disco Dazzle Nail Polish would have dried a little faster.

It does not take forever to dry, but it takes long enough, which annoyed me.

Once complete I did like the way the nails turned out, I liked how the holographic glitter flecks seemed to catch the rainbow with each and every subtle move I made.

Removal was not as annoying as older brands of hologram polishes I have used, so I was happy about that.

All in all, Disco Dazzle is a nice low priced top coat for your nails. Paint them any color, add 2 layers of this polish, and wallah you have yourself nails that look like they are having a party all their own. For under $4.00, you really can't beat it for this polish, as other polishes, which will work exactly the same will be priced nearly double what Cover Girl is asking.
