According to Goodguide.com Eau Thermale Avene Diacneal ranks in the
bottom 10% in acne treatments. Unfortunately I couldn't find a single
review to state whether or not this stuff was good, or if it was bad.
So I figured seeing that I have used it, I would weigh in my own opinion.
My Skin Type:
I have oily skin naturally. By mid afternoon my skin usually is very
shiny on just my nose and on my forehead. If I leave this oil there, and
don't wipe it away or rinse my face, I will break out. I don't suffer
from huge break outs, but still, at 26 years old one would think pimples
would be a thing of the past.
That's just not the case for me. Every
week, I find a new growth, some may be small, and others may be large
and painful!
I began using Eau Thermale Avene Diacneal Skincare Lotion for Blemish
Prone Skin, simply because it seemed to offer exactly what my skin type
seemed to need.
Eau Thermale Avene Diacneal Skincare Lotion for Blemish Prone Skin is
made with retinol and Glycolic Acid in a 6% strength, which supposedly
smooths and exfoliates the skin while treating acne.
When Eau Thermale
Avene Diacneal Skincare Lotion for Blemish Prone Skin is used often you
can expect results in around 3 weeks. An improvement in clarity, and
tone should be noticed. Eau Thermale Avene Diacneal Skincare Lotion for
Blemish Prone Skin is also recommended by dermatologists, and was tested
on those with sensitive skin.
In order to obtain Eau Thermale Avene Diacneal Skincare Lotion for
Blemish Prone Skin though, one must consult a skin care consultant
first, and the product must be recommended for your use before you can
buy it.
My Use:
The first thing I noticed about Eau Thermale Avene Diacneal Skincare
Lotion for Blemish Prone Skin was its powerful sickly yellowish puke
color, and runny consistency. The second thing that I noticed about it
was its horrible alcohol like scent. To put it best, Eau Thermale Avene
Diacneal Skincare Lotion for Blemish Prone Skin smells like an old beer
can. If you've ever cleaned up old beer cans you would know exactly what
smell I am referring to. It's pretty foul.
I went ahead and used it anyway though. I figured since I am not
grossly covered in pimples, I'd only have o use it about once or twice a
week, and I applied only to areas that I was effected.
I rubbed some of the lotion into my forehead, and just a wee dab of it
onto my nose. Immediately my skin felt like it was tingling, with an
odd cooling sensation. I thought that the formula would make my skin
feel tight and dried out, but it never occurred, so I was happy with it.
Also, the horrible beer stink vanished as soon as the lotion absorbed
into my skin.
I had been using Eau Thermale Avene Diacneal Skincare Lotion for
Blemish Prone Skin weekly and did not notice any new break outs, so I
figured the lotion was working. I did still though get oily spots on my
forehead, but they were not as drastic as usual.
However eventually one minor pimple popped up 2 weeks into the regime,
and I was disappointed. I applied a little more lotion to the effected
area, and the pimple did subside a lot faster than normally, however it
still popped up, so I figured Eau Thermale Avene Diacneal Skincare
Lotion for Blemish Prone Skin was not as powerful as I thought it would
be.
Overall though, Eau Thermale Avene Diacneal Skincare Lotion for
Blemish Prone Skin kept my face blemish free a lot better than other
over the counter products I've used in the past have worked, so I did
like it in that respect.
The scent though is pretty nasty at first, and it only seems to
'slightly' work. For those with major acne, I can't see Eau Thermale
Avene Diacneal Skincare Lotion for Blemish Prone Skin doing all that
much for you. Perhaps it will clear you up slightly, but it is
definitely not going to perform any facial care miracles, because minor
pop ups still may occur.
If you only have a few break outs, than perhaps Eau Thermale Avene
Diacneal Skincare Lotion for Blemish Prone Skin would be something you
would want to look further into. As of now though, I think it works just
as good as Proactive. Proactive works some magic, but like Eau Thermale
Avene Diacneal Skincare Lotion for Blemish Prone Skin it does not give
100% acne free results.
