Cooler months are approaching, and with this cold seasonal change, my
hair also takes on changes. It becomes more brittle, dry, and hungry for
some moisturization.
While browsing around I came across a little something new from
Infusium 23. In the past I had use Infusium 23 leave in serums with
great results, but over the years the formula changed, and the scent was
not as desired anymore.
When it came to Infusium 23 Moisture Replenisher, it promised to transform dry hair, to soft and silky hair. Just what my hair seemed to need at the time.
Infusium 23 still uses the same logo, but the bottle is done up nicer,
with a less generic and cheap look than they had going on a few years
ago. This particular bottle is a semi metallic gray/silver color, with a
blue shadow like graphic of a woman and her hair sweeping just below
the Infusium 23 logo. All in all it is easy to spot, but Walmart had
this one sitting on the bottom shelf, so it is easy to look over at the
same time.
My Use:
The conditioner itself is white, and pretty thick. Thicker formulas
usually work best for my longer thick hair, so I was happy with that,
and had a pretty good feeling about it. It spreads easily, and has a
nice clean fresh scent to it. There is nothing to note about the scent
though, no citrus, florals or foody tones to it. It's like clean linen
for the hair, which is nice, but at the same token, it's also a bit
overdone when it comes to other competitors in the hair care section.
At any rate, my hair when rinsed felt exactly as the bottle promised.
Smooth, silky, and deeply infused with moisture. However I knew the real
results wouldn't be shown till my hair dried.
I allowed it to air dry as I usually do after styling my hair into curls using gel.
The results were relatively flawless. My hair was soft, moisturized,
and very, very shiny. It also seemed a lot tamer than usual, and this
was a major plus for me. My hair also stood this way until the next
shower.
All in all, this low priced conditioner is a winner. I no longer had
to battle dry brittle hair using serums, and it kept my hair style
shiny, and healthy looking. It's the perfect little treat for your hair
this winter, and I would highly suggest it, even to those who do not
have a problem with dry hair. This one will keep it nice and healthy.
