Review of Lush: Christmas Morning Bubble Bar

Oh sweet sweet Christmas delight... how I wish we had met so many moons ago.

And to think that I almost passed up on picking up a Christmas Morning Bubble Bar from Lush!!! It was the confetti that Lush added to the bubble bar that nearly sent me off without ordering one. I figured all the confetti streamers left behind in my bathtub would be nothing but a time consuming clean up afterward.

Thankfully though, the Christmas spirit in me said 'You need to try it... who knows, maybe you will like it'. So I went ahead and placed one into my online virtual shopping cart, and waited for my Christmas Morning to arrive.

For those of you whom have never tried a bubble bar, or even for those who don't care for bath much, Christmas Morning Bubble Bar; in my opinion, may have the scrumptious scented power to change your mind when it comes to baths.

Bubble Bars are basically the oddest form of drawing a bubble bath in my opinion. Usually when one thinks of a bubble bath, they think of some sort of ooey gooey syrup to add to the tub. A bubble Bar however comes in a solid form. It is meant to be crumbled under running water. Now if you have never tried a bubble bar, you're probably thinking there is no way a solid bar is going to add lots of bubbles to my bath... I thought that way too, but after trying my first bubble bar, I have re-ordered them time and time again. Addicting to say the least. Bubble Bars in fact give nearly 10 times the bubble power you're probably used to, so definitely try one for size.

I would personally recommend my all time new favorite, which of course is the one this whole spiel is about. The Christmas Morning Bubble Bar is an absolute must try.

The bar itself is an off shape round solid pink bar, with lots of colorful confetti streamers wrapped around it.

The moment I took this pink Christmas morning delight out of its package, I knew I was going to love it, based primarily on the fact that it smelled like such a rich exotic musk. An overwhelming punch of heaven is what it was, and I knew it would smell absolutely divine in the tub. I hoped though that it produced a lot of bubbles!

I ran a tub of water, and crumbled the bar under the running water. Immediately the bubbles began to pile up like mounds at the surface of the water, creating a cloud like heavenly scented painting. The water beneath all of these mounds of bubbles held a secret all its own.

The waters color had changed a deep, deep colored pink. Oh my God, like a freaking girls bath time dream.

I hopped in, and enjoyed the soak. Christmas Morning Bubble Bar is definitely one I hope Lush decides to bring back, because this is a scent I would love to use year round.

Lush describes it on their site as having a tangerine scent, but in my bars case, it smelled more like a Jovan musk. Gorgeous, sulty, sexy and intoxicating.

If you have never tried a bubble bar, than I definitely recommend you try this one first. Lush as of now has a limited amount seeing that this pink gem is a limited holiday edition. Fear not those of you who may stumble upon this review late... you can find this one being sold on Ebay.

Christmas Morning Bubble Bar gets a solid 5 star rate from me!
