I was so excited when I saw that Lush added a new soap to their
collection on their website two weeks ago, and lucky for me, the soap
was released the day I placed my enormous Christmas order.
Into my online basket, without hesitation flew Keep It Fluffy Soap.
Keep it Fluffy is described on the Lush.com website as being very
exquisite, and very feminine. After taking a closer look though, I found
that Lush didn't actually make the soap, that Keep It Fluffy is
actually a guest soap brought to the Lush site from B never to Busy to
Be Beautiful. Lush states they are their glamorous sister company.
Unfortunately it was a company I personally had never heard of till
then, so I wasn't really sure what to expect.
Keep It Fluffy is only being kept around at Lush for a limited time,
so if you are looking to try it, try and get an order in fast.
I wouldn't go rushing too fast now though, because after receiving Keep It Fluffy, I wasn't too thrilled with it.
The soap on the site displays nice hock of cream based soap, with a
murky pink color to it. On top there appears to be a sliver of purple
colored glycerin based soap.
I personally have always hated when Lush did this, because the
glycerin piece would always slip off and fall to the floor in the
shower.
Luckily with my bar, I didn't have this issue, but it is anyone's guess if yours will if you do order it that is.
Keep It Fluffy arrived packaged in a paper wrap, which was easy to
peel away. After peeling away its seal though immediately smelled an old
familiar smell that I never liked.
Keep It Fluffy smelled nearly exactly like Lushes Ooh La La Soap. It
didn't smell feminine, or exquisite at all. In fact it smelled like a
big old field of lavender. A strong overwhelming scent of old lady
perfume. Ugh... I absolutely hated it.
I went ahead though and used it, and it worked nearly in the same
manner Ooh La La did, only with a more creamy softer texture to it.
The old lady stink thankfully did not last long after I got out of the tub and dried off.
The soap is definitely not one I would ever order again, nor will I
miss it when it goes away. I do however have to say that if you were a
fan of Ooh La La, odds are Keep It Fluffy will impress you, because it
feels much nicer on the skin. It also made my skin softer after using
it, which was nice.
Although Keep It Fluffy is not a favorite of mine, I still wouldn't
not recommend it, because like I said, those of you who love lavender,
or Ooh La La, will love this one.
You can purchase it at any local Lush or online at Lush.com. Keep It Fluffy sells for $6.95 for a 3.5 ounce cut.
