Review of Lush, Mrs. Whippy Bath Bomb

A week or so ago I ordered my yearly stock up of Lush bathing goods, within my gluttonous order I plopped a Mrs. Whippy Bath Bomb, into my virtual shopping cart, and finally got around to using it tonight, and let me say, Mrs. Whippy is by far the best bath bomb I have ever used by Lush, period!
When it first arrived I did not have such high hopes for it, as my bath bomb looked like a much sadder, and abused version of the whipped looking delight you see on Lush's website. Mine had a similar shape to the bomb shown, but the overall look was not as beautiful as what I was expecting.

Little did I know, that the real glory evolves from Mrs. Whippy the moment she hits the water. At first this bath bomb looks like an ordinary bath bomb, with an all white color to it, and a few hard crystal candy sprinkles added to the top of the cream whipped shape, sort of like an ice cream cone top.

My Use:

The moment Mrs. Whippy hits the water though, the white bomb does not fizz like an ordinary bath bomb, instead the white outer shell foams up releasing a nice layer of whipped foam to the top layer of your bath water.

Moments afterward though something magical happens; a pink ball in the center of the white shell begins to emerge and fizz away like an ordinary bath bomb. However the difference is that it releases such a beautiful high potent note of something delicious that reminds me of a toy I played with as a kid, which oddly e nough is strawberry shortcake doll hair.

Besides the strawberry cream candy scent though, Mrs. Whippy releases a lovely fantasy like pink coloring to the bath water that not only adds to the charm, but it softens and silkens the water.

Besides the strawberry fragrance Mrs. Whippy it gives off, I was able to detect a beautiful and warm spiced cinnamon fragrance as well, which I thought was so perfect for this fall and winter season.

Lasting Power:

Mrs. Whippy is definitely a one of a kind fragrance by Lush. Any Lush Veteran knows that many of their products have this signature Lushie scent to it, but Mrs. Whippy lacks the original spice and is a fragrance all its own.

As far as lasting Mrs. Whippy lasts and lasts. In the tub it fizzes away for quite awhile, and once out of the tub the fragrance stays with you, as well as the super soft moisturized feeling it will leave behind on your skin.

All in all Mrs. Whippy is a must. If you are new to Lush, or a customer who keeps coming back to Lush, Mrs. Whippy is one bath ballistic you do not want to miss out on. I have found my second favorite Lush product, besides Karma soap.
