Review of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Fast Dry Nail Color Brisk Blue

I've been completely fixated on picking up every single Nicole by Opi nail color, and when the day finally came where there were no more colors to inspire my tastes, I decided to begin looking at other nail polish companies, to see what they had to offer. I did not think I would find a color, or polish that worked quite as fabulously as Opi's colors do.

That was when I spotted this matte colored bright sky blue bottle of nail polish sitting on a shelf right below Nicole colors. This one was by Sally Hansen. I'm no stranger to Sally Hansen. I fell in love with their Prism colors a few years ago, and when I saw this blue bottle of polish I knew I had to have it. Luck was on my side as well, as the polish was on sale for under $5.00.

The color was Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Fast Dry Nail Color Brisk Blue, which is a beautiful beautiful bright and vivid sky blue color that catches your eye immediately; even on shelves amongst hundreds of others, this one screams for attention.

I have used Insta-Dri formulas before by Sally Hansen, and never liked them all too much, but that was years ago, and it seems after some trials and errors they got the formula down to a perfected state of chemical wonders.

Blue Brisk dries marvelously, with a shiny, yet matte finish that is stunning on the nails. It really goes well when you are looking to match an outfit with a bright vivid blue color. Blue Brisk will do just that, it completes a perfect outfit, or will stand out even in a miss matched one.

It does dry very fast, but I would recommend not doing anything too demanding on your hands for a good 5 minutes or so.

The brush itself is also interesting, it is not a round like brush that most nail polishes have. Instead you have a wide thin brush that with just one dip can cover 5 digits in just seconds. I did not think I;d like the brush at first, but it is fool proof, and made perfectly so the polish runs down the stick and onto the brush, instead of onto the table or floor. Like a polish slide, and it works perfectly.

Last:

I have worn the color with 2 coats, and o clear gloss finish for 4 days now with no chipping or signs of fading in the color.

All in all Sally Hansen Blue Brisk Nail Polish is fantastic. A bright and vivid color, it pops, and it lasts and I couldn't suggest it more.
