Review of Revlon Lipgloss- Pink Pop

Recently I began wearing lipstick and lip glosses again. I never really was fond of either because color never seemed to last on my lips, and I found that I was having to re-apply and purchase lip colors way to often than I liked to. Not only that, most lipsticks come to nearly $10.00, and half of the ones I have tried sucked.

However after picking up a Revlon lip color a few months back, I found that I liked having some subtle coloring to my lips, which are usually a pale dry color. The lipstick added moisture, and the gloss shine.

My most recent purchase once again went to Revlon, Lip gloss in a color called Pink Pop.
  Unfortunately in the store I had no idea what Pink Pop would deliver because the tube was sealed without a tester to look at. The gloss tube itself was clear so I got an idea of what to expect, but like many see through tubes, you never get the bright color you see on your lips, it usually ends up being much lighter, and barely visible.

Pink Pop was so gorgeous though that I could only hope the matte pink colored gloss looked as beautiful on my lips as it did inside of the tube.

Texture:
 
  Lip glosses either pass or fail with me, and that all starts with the glosses texture. I will not wear gloss if it leaves my lips feeling heavy, sticky, or slimy. I like light simple wear, without having to feel it caked on my lips.

  Revlon's Lip gloss in Pink Pop thankfully had a light slick texture that was not sticky or greasy feeling. In fact it left behind a nice soothing sheer texture which I enjoyed rather than despised.

The Color:
 
Thankfully, the color that I saw in the bottle was the color that easily swiped onto my lips. It;s a beautiful shiny matte finish, with a nice pop of pink. The name suits it well.

Worn alone the color is visible, but on top of a subtle pink lipstick the color pops even more.

Last:
 
  Revlon's Lip gloss, Pink Pop does in fact last quite long. You will have to re-apply here and there, but not very often.

All in all the lip gloss is a winner in my opinion. It's easy to wear, lasts long, has a nice texture, and provides beautiful coloring to the lips.
