Review of Sebastian Potion 9 Wearable Treatment, for Hair

Recently I began wearing my hair in a straight style, and as we all know the straight iron, as lovely looking as it makes our hair look, also will destroy it in the long run if we do not keep up with maintaining the health of the hair.

I find that certain serums work wonderfully in order to smooth the hair and add shine to the hair. None though promise really to protect it, especially in the face of a 430 degree iron slapping down on it.
When I came across Sebastian Potion 9 Wearable Treatment, I was super stoked, not only but the neat little description of exotic Amazon earthy essentials in it, but by the fact that it was of course made by Sebastian, and the fact that it was a treatment for my hair in which I did not have to wash out. Basically it's a leave in treatment that you put into damp hair, and either let the hair air dry, or blow dry it straight.

The results claim that your hair will silky, shiny and allow your hair to be more manageable for styling.
I just needed to straighten it, so I let it air dry first and then hit up the iron for finishing my style.

The Serum:
 
Sebastian Potion 9 Wearable Treatment is a runny orange colored serum, which felt semi greasy as I began to run it through my hair. Thankfully this oily feeling vanished as I worked it int my hair more. As the hair dried the greasy feeling was no longer present. It was as if my locks swallowed it up, and quenched itself on whatever was contained within the serum.

Sebastian Potion 9 Wearable Treatment has a nice scent, but one that reminded me all to much of Nexxus original coconut cream like formula. I was OK with the serum smelling like Nexxus though, as this coconut like scent reminds me of the tropics, and is a scent I have always loved.

As my hair dried however, this warm beachy fragrance vanished. No big deal if you ask me, so long as the formula did what it was designed to do.

Now my hair is usually always very shiny, but when I allow it to air dry, it looses that sheen unless I straighten the hair. Besides loosing the mirror like shimmer though, my hair type, which is very thick and wavy become so unmanageable that straightening my hair can take up to 2 hours do to the constant brushing, and battling I have to do just to get the iron through the hair.

After using Sebastian Potion 9 Wearable Treatment and letting my hair air dry, kinks were less in bulk, but still present. Shine was present as well which was a change for my hair while it dries naturally.

Results:
 
One my hair completely air dried I only noticed a small significant change in the manageability. Running the straight iron through my hair still caused grief and took some time. However the overall results and appearance of my hair once I was done styling was something I was not ever presented with, and although Sebastian Potion 9 Wearable Treatment does not state you will get volumized hair, this one truly added volume to my hair. I have a lot of volume alone, without such products, but Sebastian Potion 9 Wearable Treatment gave it a new lively oomph that was actually really nice. It left the hair looking thicker, fuller, and much healthier than usual.

My hair looked healthier, felt healthier, and the added volume is simply awesome. I would recommend this one to anyone looking to keep their hair in tip top shape, especially those who use hot tools often. This one helps fix, and restore hair. Another major plus is that when your hair is dry, you can add a little bit of Sebastian Potion 9 Wearable Treatment for some added texture, and I imagine it would work wonderfully on those with layers.
