Organix recently added a heap of new hair care products to their line of
hair care supplies. When I came across them I scooped up all of the
ones that I liked as far as scent goes.
Organix Healing Mandarin Olive Oil Shampoo in particular stood out due to it's addicting sweet and spicy scent of fall oranges.
I was such a fan of their coconut milk shampoo and conditioner, that I
assumed the Healing Mandarin Olive Oil Shampoo would be just as
delightful.
Mandarin Olive Oil Shampoo is made to heal and strengthen the hair
with Vitamin E. The result is supposed to be shiny, frizz free hair.
The shampoo itself has a very odd texture that reminded me of hair
gel, and gelatin. It was an odd texture for Organix, considering the
coconut milk shampoo has a thicker consistency to it.
Thankfully the odd consistency of the shampoo actually did a great job
as far as lather goes. A small amount spreads quickly, and easily, and
it creates a ton of Mandarin Orange scented suds.
After rinsing my hair felt nicely moisturized, and knot free, which is rare for a shampoo as low priced as this one.
Results:
After stepping out of the shower, I towel dried my hair, and let it
air dry naturally. The overall result was nice, but nothing spectacular.
It left my hair slightly kissed with a subtle aroma of citrusy oranges,
but the scent was very subtle, and not far stretched (it lasted about 3
hours).
Overall I can say that I liked Organix Mandarin Olive Oil Shampoo. It
left my hair lightly touched with fragrance, it left my hair shiny and
soft, and best of all frizz was barely even noticed.
I have very thick wavy hair, so frizz springing up throughout the day
is a normal occurrence. Mandarin Olive Oil Shampoo kept frizz at ease
though, so I was happy.
It is not the best shampoo I have ever used, but it holds its own.
Where To Buy:
I found Organix Mandarin Olive Oil Shampoo for sale at Target for
$5.99. It comes with a decent 13 ounces of shampoo, and with daily use
will last me about a month and a half.
