About a year ago I feel madly, deeply in love with Organix products due
to their delicious Coconut Milk products. For quite some time though,
they weren't releasing anything new; at least not in the store I
frequented.
About a month ago though, I came across a nice new line up in the
Organix collection, and the very first one to catch my eye went to Vanilla Sky Conditioner.
I got to thinking why I had never seen a vanilla scented hair care
product! I mean hell, they have candles, plug-ins, and fabric softener
in the vanilla scent, yet I had never come across hair care products in
the scent! That was until now!
Organix Soft & Silky Vanilla Sky Conditioner comes in the same
shaped bottle all Organic shampoos and conditioner's do, only Vanilla
Sky has a more subtle golden hue to it. They are easily found located
near other Organix hair care products at my local Target, and likely are
set up the same way in other stores.
The Scent:
The scent was what caused me to grab both the shampoo and the
conditioner. It has such a sugary vanilla bean scent to it. It is
creamy, milky, silky and delicious. It smells good enough to eat, only
it is for your hair.
When I bought the Vanilla Sky Conditioner, I was hoping this fabulous scent would stick behind in my locks.
My Use:
Vanilla Sky has a very thin consistency to it for conditioner.
Normally Organix conditioner has a really thick consistency. This
thinner conditioner worried me because usually thicker conditioners
provide all the more moisturization to my hair. I have thick frizzy
hair, with a tendency to be oily near my scalp, and dry at the ends. I
need to use moisturizing conditioner on my hair the most though, because
dry hair can easily convert over to damaged hair.
After shampooing, and using Organix Vanilla Sky Conditioner I was
surprised at how silky my hair felt after rinsing. I knew that as it
dried it would likely be moisturized. I have a way about telling how
well or how bad the results will be before even stepping out of the
shower. I had a feeling Vanilla Sky would be a very good conditioner,
and I was right.
The conditioner did in fact leave my hair moisturized, but not as
moisturized as other Organix conditioners I have used. The
moisturization was decent; could have been better, but at the same time
acceptable enough.
The scent was subtle, but it definitely was present. The rich, creamy
vanilla scent stood with me for the entire day, and into the next, so I
was one happy camper.
Overall:
Organix Vanilla Sky Conditioner is a nice conditioner. It is not the
best conditioner I have ever used, but it does pack the most unique one
of a kind vanilla scent, and if you love vanilla, than you will surely
love Organix Vanilla Sky Conditioner.
