Review: Soap & Glory the Righteous Butter

I have hopelessly been addicted to Soap & Glory products ever since I discovered the exclusive line at my local Target.

When Christmas came to town, Target began boxing Soap & Glory products in large gift sets. Normally just one product comes to the price that these gift sets were priced at, and best of all the gift sets included 3 or 4 items; some more than that.

One item that normally sells on it's own is Soap & Glory the Righteous Butter!!!

I did not hesitate when I saw this item being sold in a set, so I scooped it up, and got it for 75% off thanks to after Christmas sales!

Scent:

Soap & Glory the Righteous Butter smells like nothing I have ever smelled before. It is light, yet very detectable, musky, yet soapy, feminine yet with a touch of masculine power.

Mainly I smell a nice mix of musk, dove bar soap, and an itty dab of freshly rained on flowers. Combined it creates a gorgeous long lasting fragrance.

Soap & Glory the Righteous Butter is of course a body butter, however it is a lot thinner than most body butters you may already be using. To me, Soap & Glory the Righteous Butter has a thinner texture to it, which makes it feel more like a lotion on the body, than a thick body butter.

I personally hate the thick textures body butters have, so when I saw that Soap & Glory the Righteous Butter had a more lotion consistency to it, I was pretty happy.

Packaging:

Soap & Glory the Righteous Butter comes in a pink round plastic container, with a cute retro looking sticker on the lid, which labels what the product is. In this case, of course, Soap & Glory the Righteous Butter.

My Use:

I unscrewed the lid, and dipped my fingers into Soap & Glory the Righteous Butter. I spread it around my arms and legs, and waited for it to absorb.

For those curious, absorbing time is fast, and it does not leave behind any thick or greasy residues.

Soap & Glory the Righteous Butter pretty much melts into your skin. It leaves your skin soft to the touch, and smelling like heaven. The best thing about Soap & Glory the Righteous Butter besides the fact that it softens skin, is that the scent is so long lasting that I'd easily compare it to a fine perfume.

Overall:

Soap & Glory the Righteous Butter is delicious. Perfect for dry skin in the winter months, and a must have for those who love long lasting fragrances. This one will not disappoint!

Where To Buy:

Soap & Glory the Righteous Butter is sole exclusively at Target, or Target.com. You can likely pick this up in larger lots on Ebay as well.
