Top 5 Products to Use for a Trendy Messy Hair Style

When one thinks of messy hair, they primarily think of laziness. Messy hair is usually the result of not brushing, washing, and styling. However 2009 will go down in history for making messy hair the hottest and newest trend.

I primarily would give this trend credit to the stars in the hit blockbuster movie Twilight. All of the actors sported the messy, wild, out of control look both on screen, and off screen. The movie starred some hot celebrity's, and it was only a matter of moments before people began copying the look.
The era of messy dos.

As much as I find the look to be unflattering, some actually are starved to find out ways to achieve such looks. Girls with very fine, straight hair in particular will have the toughest time.

For those of you with pin straight hair, do know that you too can achieve the full body, messy look just as easily as anyone else.

1. Hair Wax

Hair wax is one product that you will definitely want to buy in order to achieve the messy look.
Applying a good decent amount of hair wax to your dry hair and teasing/fluffing/scrunching the hair will help you get the look down pretty quickly. Shaking your head around wildly as if you were dancing will also help you achieve the messy look with little to no effort.

Some of the best hair wax includes wax Got2b.

2. Hair Gel

Hair gel can also add the messy hair look. You apply it in the same manner as hair wax. This will make the look smoother, and not as kinked out. LA Looks works the best in my opinion because it won't leave flakes behind when it dries.

3. Curling Iron

You can use a curling iron to add sporadic curls throughout your hair. You can then apply some hair gel, or hair wax to your hair. Be sure to tease the hair slightly, and shake your head up and down. This will give your messy look body, especially if you have a thinner straight hair type.

4. Aerosol Quick Dry Hair Spray

Any quick drying hairspray will do. I would recommend Got2b Glued Blasting Freeze Spray. You will want to spray this into dry hair and quickly run your fingers through it, messing and teasing up the sprayed section before it dries. The messy look will come fast and easy with this spray, and it will also add body as you mess the hair up.

5. Volumizing Shampoos and Conditioners

Using volumizing products in your hair will add extra body for you to work with. Big Sexy Hair is a product you will want to try, as well as Flex. Flex is one of the most volumizing conditioners I have ever used. This will amp up your hair, giving you a larger canvass to work on!
Enjoy!
