This simple to use system is also pricey, but the price alone would cost the same price you would pay for 2 tans in a salon; and the results are the same.

What I really love about this particular self tanner is that you get long lasting bronzed results in as little as a day. The tan lasts though, and it works especially well on your body. The color however does not go as well on the face, but that is why Jergens sells a facial moisturizer as a self tanner as well.
What's great about this tanner, is that it is also priced to pick up today. At under $8.00, this tanner is perfect for the budget conscious shopper.

4. Fake Bake Sunless Self-Tanning Lotion
 
Fake Bake is nicely priced, and works just as nicely as it is priced. $29.00 may seem like a high priced self tanner, but rest assured it's worth the money. It delivers a quick even tan. It is not as good as the lotions seen above, but it is definitely worthy of taking a slot on the top 5 self tanners list.

5. St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse
 
This self tanner is also priced a bit on the high side, but this self tanner is also worth it's weight in gold. It delivers a fast, even tan, that is not orange. It goes on easily, and you are able to see where it is going, so there are no issues with streaking. This self tanner will give you a natural looking bronzed tan, which you will love!

With any self tanner, always scrub or exfoliate your skin before applying the self tanner. This will allow your self tanner to apply more evenly, and last much longer.
