Bath & Body Works Anti-Bacterial Moisturizing Soap: Sensual Amber

My friends and family are well aware that I am addicted to bath and body products; Bath & Body Works in particular is one of my favorite stores. I try avoiding the store though because when I walk out, somehow (tee-hee) I end up $60 - $70 poorer.

My mom however came home with a little bag filled with Bath & Body Works goodies this past weekend. There is this killer thrift shop in my neighborhood that we frequent where we have come across some really excellent name brand body products for one buckaroo.

In the bag she had a small collection of Bath & Body Works Sensual Amber products, which is one of my top fragrance's from BBW.

I usually don't purchase hand soap from Bath & Body Works, but seeing a bottle of Anti-Bacterial Moisturizing Soap: Sensual Amber in the mix of other products I was pretty happy, because we were running out of hand soap at my job. I figured I'd pack it up and bring it with me to work.

The Promise:

According to the Bath & Body Work website, using Anti-Bacterial Moisturizing Soap: Sensual Amber will eliminate germs, hydrate skin, moisturize, and leave the glorious Sensual Amber scent behind on your hands.

Appearance:

Anti-Bacterial Moisturizing Soap: Sensual Amber comes in a sort of diamond shaped plastic bottle, with a standard press down pump. The soap inside of the bottle is quite interesting looking, and resembles a facial scrub with small flecks of scrub and beads floating all throughout the hand soap. It's pretty wicked looking to be honest, and from the outside it looks like the soap would be pretty harsh and abrasive seeing how it is so fully loaded with these micro-beads.

My Use:

I pumped out 2 small drops of Anti-Bacterial Moisturizing Soap: Sensual Amber and ran them under water. The micro-beads inside of the hand soap is not abrasive at all, and once washing your hands you will not even feel them. It feels mainly like regular hand soap but in a more thick gel texture.

The scent of Sensual Amber fills the room pretty quickly, even when washing with colder water.

After drying my hands I was pretty surprised to feel how soft they were after just one quick washing.

Best of all though the Sensual Amber scent was fully loaded on my hands, and I could smell them without even lifting my hands to my nose.

The scent surprisingly stuck around for nearly an hour, which is very decent compared to others.

Scent:

Sensual Amber is a beautiful scent, a very musky sweet scent that will stick with you, and honestly you will love it. I personally consider it a fall scent. Thick musky, sweet and spicy all in one.

It is made with pink lotus flowers, green tea and Shea butter. I don't really notice anything greet tea scented about it though.

Overall:

Wonderful stuff here ladies and gents. The hand soap moisturizes your hands, leaves them soft, and leaves that lovely scent behind that lasts for quite some time. Truly hand soap has never really impresses me, but Anti-Bacterial Moisturizing Soap: Sensual Amber managed to win me over, and I plan on purchasing more of their hand soaps in different scents once this one runs out.

Where To Buy:

You can pick a bottle of Anti-Bacterial Moisturizing Soap: Sensual Amber up at local Bath & Body Works stores, or online. One tube will come to $5.00, or as of now 3 for $10.00.
