Bath & Body Works Signature Collection: Sensual Amber Body Splash

I've always liked body splashes, and body sprays for a quick pick me up refreshing scent. Unfortunately no matter what type of spray it is, high end or low end, the scent never lasts for longer than 15 minutes, so mostly I avoid picking up expensive ones. I'll once in awhile pick up a cheap $3.00-$5.00 spray, simply because they work just as well as expensive brand sprays.

Recently though my mom came home with a small collection of Bath & Body Works products in one of my favorite scents, Sensual Amber. I was pretty happy about it, especially seeing how there were a few products in the small bunch that I never personally got to pick up myself at the store. The particular product I'm reviewing here now is Bath & Body Works Signature Collection: Sensual Amber Body Splash.

Sensual Amber is a particular fragrance that has a very soft yet very sweet, musky scent to it that just reeks of deliciousness. It's a heavier soft scent, and I consider it one of my personal favorite scents for fall wear. It has a long lasting spicy undertone to it as well, that is simply to die for. The name Bath & Body Works slapped on to this scent is perfect. I consider it a mood enhancing scent more than anything. Sensual it is.
 
Appearance:
 
Sensual Amber Body Splash comes in a standard plastic bottle with the Sensual Amber label slapped on to it. The label is pretty though, it's a golden burnt orange color, with stones of actual pieces of amber.

The nozzle is also a typical body spray pump.

The spray itself is a dark dark orange color, which may look brown to some.

I have used Bath & Body Works splashes before, and honestly was expecting the same type of deal when it came to Sensual Amber. It would spray out a wave of delicious fragrance, and in less that 10 minutes it's scent would be gone.

Well I was right. The first few minutes of spraying on Sensual Amber Body Splash I was enthralled with the lovely scent, sadly though no less than 15 minutes after that the scent was gone with the wind. Nearly every Bath & Body Works Splash does the same thing; it releases a gorgeous scent that does not at all stick around.

If you're still interested in it you can of course pick it up at Bath & Body Works for $10.50 you may also purchase the smaller travel sized splash for only $3.50. For me the larger $10.50 priced bottle is far too over priced for the last that it gives, which is close to nothing really.

Overall:
 
Sensual Amber Body Splash does not last long. It however is a beautiful scent, and I would recommend you buy the body cream which has a far longer lasting scent. The body splash is nice to spray on your clothing for a quick short burst of fragrance, but for the price they are asking for it, I'd skip. Like I said, go with a cream or lotion in this scent instead.
