Burt's Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme

I have time and time again come across reviews online just praising Burt's Bees products. I myself have gotten the opportunity to try Burt's Bees products before, some I liked, and others not so much.

As far as Burt's Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme goes though, this scum in a jug is by far the worst hand creme I have ever used in my life- period!

Burt's Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme was given to me by my uncle who whenever comes out for a visit brings us bags of free cosmetics and body products. Seeing how I knew the brand already and had a semi positive outlook on the brand I imagined that I would like this hand creme.

Burt's Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme given to me came in a small travel sized glass container. It was perfect! I figured if I liked this creme I could easily chuck it into my purse and tote it along with me.

The Creme:

I opened the lid and looked inside at the creme. It was a very light brown color, but at first glance it did not resemble creme at all. In fact it looked more like melted candle wax. The appearance kind of sickened me, but I went ahead and dipped my fingers into the jar to scoop out some of the... um... eww... what the hell is this!?!?!?!

I didn't scoop out any glorious creamy creme, Burt's Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme in fact felt exactly like it looked. Like wax! It had a sticky gooey feel to it, like I had just dipped my hand into some tree sap.

I tried smearing it around on my hands, and it only made things worse. It was as if I were trying to smear slightly melted candle wax around on my hands. It was very thick, very sticky, and disgusting.
The scent was just as sickening. My boyfriend who was lying next to me in bed smelled it and replied with a giant "Ew", followed by, "that smells like rotting wood!"

Burt's Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme also never absorbed into my skin! It did however leave a disgusting film on my hands which I compare to orange peel goop (you know, that nasty residue that gets left behind on your hands after you peel an orange? Yeah like that!).

In order to remove it from my hands I had to use an alcohol based hand sanitizer, even then some of it managed to stick around.

Overall:

Burt's Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme is the most disgusting hand creme I have ever used. It leaves behind a waxy texture on your hands that is greasy and sticky at the same time. It smells bad, and does not absorb into skin.

I recommend you skip Burt's Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme entirely.
