Alrighty then, if you are a complete perfectionist when it comes to your
skin, and skin care regime, than more than likely you already know
about the stuff that has been dubbed a fountain of youth in a bottle
right? Well I hope so, it's called Hyaluronic Acid, and is by far one of
the best, low priced serums you can find. Now some sleaze ball
companies like to bottle this stuff up and dash on a $90.00 price tag,
when the reality is, you can pop on over to Amazon and buy it in pure
form for under $20.00.
As much as I love the serum, I hate waiting a week for it to come in
the mail, so whenever possible, I browse the beauty isles of local
stores, and see if they have anything with Hyaluronic Acid in its
ingredient list. I suggest you ladies out there do the same.
My most recent find was a serum that had Hyaluronic Acid included in the ingredient list. It was called EI Solutions Aqua Comprise Fucogel 1000,
and I found it for under $7.00 at a local Marshalls. After looking it
up online, I found that this exact bottle is sold in the $35-$40 range,
which is too high.
However if you can scoop it up at Marshall's for the
price I got it for, then go for it.
It comes in a blue glass bottle, with a really odd dropper. Other acid
serums I have used came with standard squeeze droppers, when it comes
to EI Solutions Aqua Comprise Fucogel 1000, you have to press down on
the button at the top of the bottles cap, and allow the dropper to suck
up the serum into its glass chamber. You then pump it out onto your
clean skin, and rub it around.
The Hyaluronic Acid is what will plump the skin, and fade out fine
lines. The problem however is that the results last a few hours before
lines begin to show again. The plus side is that with consistent use,
the skin will actually revert back into a younger looking complexion. So
with the bad, comes the good, and the good is definitely better than
the bad.
Anyhow, the serum is very runny, so when you apply it to your face, you want to work quickly and rub/pat it around your face.
Compared to other hyaluronic serums I have used, this one dried a bit
sticky compared to them.
Thankfully the sticky feeling is not long
lived, and as the serum quickly absorbs, so does this feeling.
When I used it my skin felt tighter, but the plumping action did not
seem to take a noticeable result right away. A few minutes into allowing
the formula to sit though, and wallah, my skin looked younger, and less
tired.
I really do love this stuff, not even so much this particular formula,
but just hyaluronic acid in general. It works, and it works well, but
if you can find a product containing this acid, buy that instead, your
results will be the same for less money.
